This pretty much haunted the old version of the game.  I just sim past the all star game and it won’t crash.

I see this is an old post but all the tweaks are in the readme file.

Okay to play this on my new computer I had to download something from the Visual Basic library then it wouldn’t load unless I put the default_20-21.lge file in same  folder as the executable.  It seems this was requested every time I load the game. I’ve been playing this game for about 15yrs and I love it.  I’ve played every simulator and this one is the best as you actual play. Only hiccup is it gave my team a salary cap of 13 million THRU 6 SEASONS . WHILE OTHER TEAMS HAD 60 to 130 million caps.  I kept getting  good draft picks but would lose 

 them when the contracts were up and couldn’t sign one free agent unless they made under 1 million.  I fixed this by turning the finances off in league settings. I’ve never seen the game this lopsided in the older versions. Big mistake there.
