General Feedback:

This is a comprehensible, easy to navigate eBook prototype.
I really enjoy the fact, that the text gets highlighted as the voiceover continues. The user really gets guided through the story.
It is an interesting take to have to start the animation on your own accord. While normally it would support to tell the tale, I like that you can play it whenever you like and can chose between having it run simultaneously to the story or afterwards.

Since I did do the background, I will only really give feedback to the icons and other UI elements. The colors are okay. They are neutral and don't distract from the story, but also don't support it. It's nice to keep everything contained, but personally I would use more brownish and muted colors.
The icons are nice and I can tell what they do just by looking at them. I did not really need to check the question mark because I'm unsure what for example the play button would do.
They could be a bit more cleaner, especially the narrator one, but all in all great icons for the prototype.
The normal text font is okay, but I despise the title font. It is not a bad font per se, but it does not work together well with the other UI elements. The font feels to extravagant to be in a blue box.  I would take a simple bold sans-serif font. It should still have the characteristics of "this is a title" but it should be able to be combined with the overall User Interface.
Perhaps use the current text font as a title font and look for another font for the text.

All in all this is a great prototype and I can't wait to see how this will go.
