hi ik this was like months ago and you probably already know but you need to have the canon endings with everyone else on the same run to have his good ending :))

I think u need to descompress the file,if you already did and you can play the game directly when you press the program on your files,you should have the option to move it to your task bar or to your desk on the pc. This is what i did on Windows but idk if you could on linux or mac, :))
