Love this one. The claws and legs on the player are perfect, the buzzing as the dragonflies approach you is ominous, and the procedurally generated world is super impressive. I fell through the ground a few times and the movement sound becomes a bit grating after a while would be my only notes, overall this is a super solid submission I had a lot of fun with.

Lol thanks, moving forward with this project we have no intentions of keeping it as a rage game. I would have definitely worked to encourage egg use more than discouraging it if I had allowed myself more time for level design, I just kind of had to lean into the more comedic aspects of what we were doing to finish in time. Thank you for the feedback, it's very much appreciated
Most creative game I've tried yet, super innovative gameplay. Would love to see this more fleshed out. Not sure how it ties in with the theme exactly but the concept is really clever and the fact that you got this working in such a short time as a new jam dev is really impressive. I always felt Drawn to Life was a wasted opportunity at the whole "you draw assets of the level" idea by how it never really uses it practically, only decoratively. This is playing it the exact opposite way and I'm 100% for it. Love this submission
I got a high score of 90 playing over and over thinking I was getting better scores based on how fast I was shooting the fruits, just to finally watch the score for a while and realize the different fruits just give different point amounts and your score is completely based on what fruits spawn. Either way it kept me engaged, used to love fruit ninja. I feel like this could be used to warm up for an FPS game lol
The music is nice and the movement is quite smooth, though I had a bit of trouble getting the wall jump to consistently do what I wanted it to. Same with the backflip, which I very much like the inclusion of but couldn't make happen on purpose. It seems I'm immortal, and I have to jump to go through doors. The star of the show for me here is the freeform level selection system which does a great job of encouraging exploration. Even if there isn't a whole lot of variation from room to room, it psychologically makes me feel as though I'm uncovering something by completing them. Solid entry overall!
