it's so good! sweet and helpless and traumatized. the collage backgrounds are economical but beautiful and set the mood of different scenes perfectly. the characters are incredibly animated, with so many different poses and expressions for every scene that it almost feels more comic than visual novel. but it's definitely a visual novel! the pacing feels very well thought out, and, most importantly, it's a well written story that feels very heartfelt and personal. it captures some real and relatable trauma. read it!

i feel like i can't say that much more without giving things away... i think in relationships there is always this looming fear of hurting the people you love, and that when, inevitably, you do hurt them, maybe you'll never be able to go back. this game captures that fear perfectly

This is a beautiful story about philosophy, and about storytelling, and about how both of those are tied into identity. I've been browsing itch.io looking for short games to play to take my mind off things, but this game is one that puts my mind on a lot of things.

I didn't expect the story to go the way it did, or many of the twists along the way, but it all flowed naturally and painted such a compelling picture. I think a lot about thoughts, and about identities and "truths", and watching all of that come together in the game's philosophical conclusion was an incredible experience.

As a person who likes to write and philosophize, thank you for creating a game that tells such an interesting story about writing and philosophizing. I don't tend to dream, but this game is the sort of thing I think I would dream of.
