Thanks, I wanted to make it challenging. That's why I didn't include any player aids (no extra lives, no energy levels, and some tricky jumps).

For the music, I composed a tune similar to Lavender Town from Pokémon (something that would be maddening), but when I tried playing it on the mobile version, it caused lag (at least on my phone), so I didn't want to risk it happening to anyone else.

Thanks. If you play it on your phone, it looks much more like a Game Boy.

Thanks. I thought about putting background music on it, but it was causing a strange lag (at least on my phone). I preferred not to risk it happening to someone else.

Are you referring, say, to sometimes jumping without knowing where you're going to land?

If so, I intentionally designed the way the jump is created to increase the game's difficulty.

Thanks, use of resources built into the software itself.

Thank you, I used a language called arcademakecode, which provides a graphics platform similar to the Game Boy. I specifically wanted to use this language to take advantage of this feature so that the game simulates a Game Boy when played on mobile devices.
