If you can't make many sprites from scratch, how about add a discord community server? With it, people could upload sprites for this video game. Make sure you make it a restricted server for only adults to get invited for your future server.
I'd come across a bug for some time now. When I used a Return Gem, it forces the monster NPCs to retain their current position rather than return to their original position. Ex. One NPC was down south from Suma City but supposed to be northwest where you find the cotton could be. I used v0.7.99.5.
