Please feel free to upload any run you have, it doesn't have to be world record, but the more runs we have the more filled out the leader board will look.

This does mean that runs will HAVE to be recorded for you to submit them now, it doesnt really matter how just as long as you get a clip of each of your levels. I recommend using a "replay" or clipping tool so you're not consantly recording but you can clip the last 15 seconds.

those times aren't the actual world records they're just pre-set ingame times

this is the current world record at 59.80 seconds (my level 11 time is wrong here)

GLITCHLESS SUB 60, 59.99 WORLD RECORD

60.04 im literally 0.05 seconds away from sub 60

First sub 61, the actual time is 60.49  (my level 11 is actually 3.58)

I found two new strategies that saved quite a lot of time, I still can't manage to do the strategies that made dowphin save 0.6 seconds on me. That means that If i could get those runs then a sub 60 is possible.

how did you do this?? did you use a triple jump

I dont know if its the same strategy but I found one

I actually managed to get a 2.9, I was going to hold out on giving it away since I might have done the glitched runs myself but it's more tedious then I though so I'll tell you anyway.
There is a bug in the game that if you get pushed into a block by a moving platform as a ghost it glitches you through, if it glitches you into a long line of blocks (like on level 11) it will almost instantly launch you up the distance, so using this you can launch straight into the finish.

you are insane man I'll update the title, maybe think about using obs to clip your runs, if not obs you can use "medal" which is free too.

I summed up the best times between your glitched run and my glitched/glitchless runs and I got a time of 47.96, which means that is theoretically possible for a glitchless run and something you could aim for.

how did you get that level 8 time??? was it glitchless?

I tried it with ghost respawn and I was way slower.

Actually I'm not sure if it would be allowed, I could still send the request but it's about 2 minutes total playtime for a casual playthrough.

haha thank you, there's actually loads of really interesting strategies in this game I've figured out and I've seen shalev use too, things like pressing "jump" in the air after using a button cancels ur vertical velocity and lets you land more optimally, if you ever do a follow up video I'd be more than happy to give you any of the strategies I know

anyone currently speedrunning this (glitched or glitchless) reply if you'd be interested in applying for a speedrun.com leaderboard because if we can get enough people then we ought to be able to get one.

I do but I'd only reveal the strategy in a full glitchless run because I havent seen anyone else use it yet.

I think it would be nicer to have different "profiles", because I would like to do both glitchless and glitched but I cant do both and maintain the combined time.

Also, the game lacks a "back" button to get to the main menu, so you cant lower the volume after you press continue.

You should upload your runs to yt, currently there are 2-3 of us speedrunning  without the glitches and my WR is at 61.37 now

oh wow this is sick, are you going for a WR? also, the in game "world records" are just random times set by the developer and don't update based on the world records of the community.

Yeah I currently have sub 61 as my total time but the WR time is 61.37 because I just adjusted for the bug

On this topic, It'd be quite nice to clear certain level times. I currently have the world record but if this is dissallowed then I wouldnt be able to get my level 11 time back up to the normal number without redoing a world record run on every single run.

I found a really nice strat to get insane times on level 11. Unfortunately it does use a bug, but it is quite hard to pull off. In terms of speedrunning I think it is your call if it should be allowed in speedruns or not because usually speedruns do involve glitches.
