The visual appeal certainly catches my eye as the welcoming nature of this experience has me actually interested while playing. I normally do not play visual novels, let alone participate in game jams tests. Yet, I was asked to see what a friend did and give an honest opinion. With the option to determine where the player goes as well as giving several options for what the player may make, it actually interests me again to play it for a second time to try the other options in-game since they are not negative endings. 
I am not too big on the music, but it kept my eyes open. I normally just don't partake in RPG music. It must be pretty good to have had me nodding my head time to time while playing.
