Unfortunately, I am still not hearing step sounds during gameplay even though the step sounds is turned on. I am running the latest version, 0.71, build 69, on a Mac.

Great stuff. I will grab the new version shortly. Thank you for letting me know about the colours. I'll experiment on my own <grin>

I really love this game. However, when I downloaded the latest Mac version, I can no longer hear my footsteps whilst playing. I have turned the "Enable footsteps" option on but it makes no difference. I also cannot hear joggers, spikes, cars, fences or breakable items during gameplay. I hope there will be a fix for this soon.

Hello. I installed the mac version of the game earlier, and am really enjoying it. However, I have noticed a couple of things. The command for "shake it" is documented incorrectly. The correct keystroke is k, and not h, as documented. Also, there are no keystrokes in the documentation regarding the colours. Which keystrokes do you use for these? Many thanks for your assistance.

Hi! Great news! I just wanted to let you know I finally got the game to work on the mac. Yay! It turns out the first command I was typing was incorrect. Here is what I typed:

cd /applications/Ttc.app/Contents/Macos

chmod +x Ttc

That did the trick. Thank you so much for being patient with me while I was attempting to figure this out. I have only played 1 game so far, but I love it a lot. I tavelled a distance of over 500 feet.

I haven't received any responses over there as yet. Now I'm running into the same issue with the beta version of another Mac game. It's frustrating!

No worries at all. I have explained my problem in the general game discussion room of www.audiogames.net, in the hopes that a Mac user over there has gotten the game to work, and to explain to me, step by step, on how they achieved this. I haven't looked at responses for a couple of days as the website has been down, but will go look shortly.

Thank you for your reply. I have already tried all of your suggestions, but unfortunately they did not work. I have all of Mason Armstrong's Mac games on here and they work just fine. I used the xattr command in terminal to activate these. I copied the game to my applications folder before attempting the commands you gave on this page. Was this the incorrect thing to do? Unfortunately, I don't know of any other mac gamers who have downloaded this game. I am determined to get the game working.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I still cannot run the game. The blocked app does not appear at the bottom when I open system settings, privacy and security, even though I have my setting set to "allow apps from anywhere". I am running Mac OS Sequoia 15.3. I honestly do not know what the solution is here.

Hello. I am attempting to play this game on my Mac. Unfortunately, I am running into some issues. I followed the instructions and typed the commands exactly as they appear after opening the terminal. However, I am informed that no such directory exists after I type the first command, and that no such mod exists after typing the second command. I don't know what else to try. Would it be possible to display the mac version as a .dmg disk image, instead of a zip file? I am attempting to run the game on an M4 Macbook Pro. Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.

No need to apologise. I downloaded the file from the above link with the same results.

Mac files are usually unzipped by default. However, the file is showing as an application, and not as a .dmg disk image. For applications containing a lot of files, it is better to use a .dmg.

When attempting to launch the Mac application I receive the following error: "The application Base Dolphin Mac OS can't be opened". Sorry I can't be more specific than that. Such a shame, because I really wanted to give this game a try.

I really love the game because it's very addictive. This is my favourite game genre and it works very nicely on the mac. Keep up the great work. Well done.
