I like the music, and the color of the tree.

Hope you're doing well Manic!

I really appreciate your input Manic! I agree, the music doesn't really fit, I rushed to make something very quickly right before the deadline and had a hard time getting that underwater vibe I was looking for. Creating beautiful music is something I want to improve at.

I was excited about this project so I continued to work on it after the submission deadline, so hopefully the bug that you encountered won't be in the game once I update it after the jam voting period ends.

Hope things are going well on your end, keep following those game dev dreams!

You actually eat the little blue guys that float past you in the background, giving you an infinite supply of fish to eat.

I spent a lot of time on easter eggs, and small details people aren't likely to notice which meant I ended up running out of time for making a clear in game explanation for how the mechanics worked.  (The easter eggs only work in the Two-Player mode which requires that you have a game controller plugged into your computer and use it to move before you press on the keyboard. It's my first time making a multiplayer split screen game, so it turned out a little buggy.

Thanks for taking the time to review so many people's games and being so nice about it. Hope you've enjoyed the game jam!

Hey Manic, thanks man! I really appreciate it. I hope you've been doing well. I've got a bigger project that I'm working on right now, but I wanted to polish this up just a little bit because I was going to throw it on my resume as I look for some work.

Hope you're still working on stuff when you have the time. You're great! :D

I ended up coming back and playing this one again. It's short but sweet. Nice one!

Those ranged attacks from the casters that start coming on level 2 come with no warning and are difficult to avoid! Huge jump in difficulty compared to level 1 for this reason.

It's a cute game, I like the blend of 2D and 3D. Good luck with your future projects!

I immediately fell.

I like the paint effect, it's pretty cool actually. Nice little character too.

I saved my child! Nice game.

I really love the art style and animation. Especially for the player character. Really great walk cycle. Fun little game, glad you adapted your concept and submitted it. Nice work!

I escaped the binary realm, with only a little bit of darkness in my soul!

Good game, cheers.

I escaped!

It's a simple game, but I like it. All about balancing those resources. Be well, and good luck with your future game development journey!

Thank you for making this, I'd never participated in a game jam either, and you inspired me to go for it! I ran out of time and didn't finish, but still!

Great game, congrats on your first game jam!

The light hit my body. It's cute, but I gave a lower rating because the original game wasn't made by you. Still, I'm sure they appreciate that you like their games enough to adapt them like that. Cheers.

I love the aesthetic. It's a fun game too, though I did eventually get stuck. Wishing you good luck in the jam, your eye for design is top notch!

So I liked the game, nothing satisfied quite like a 2D platformer, and your level designs are good! You used the 1-bit theme of the jam to come up with some creative obstacles to overcome.

I don't like that there isn't a victory screen or indicator once you've beat the 5th level. It just looped back to the first level and it took me a moment to realize that I'd already beaten that. Anyways, good game and good luck on your future projects!

I like how you made sprites for the TV-man to look every direction. That's a lot of work. Keep learning, and keep making games!

So the visual effects are actually nice. I like the heat waves that come off the hoglets in the sun. Got to keep those little guys cool!

Interesting Idea, I give you bonus points for the originality.

I like how they follow you around. Don't give up! :D

Nice one, the art is fantastic and I like the concept. The melody of the music could stand out a bit more. Because most of my attention is focused on the notes, a more impactful feedback for missing or hitting notes would be a really great addition. Overall, excellent work!
