fantastic fever dream you've created! a bit tricky to capture the balls sometimes, but I really like the visual and audio direction. the skyboxes on levels 2 and 3 were really cool

the clouds and ripples in the water are really cool! Also really like the sounds you chose for the weather and the quacks. Good atmosphere. A bit disappointed that there was no ending once all the ducklings found their parents

Really cool idea and great execution! It was very satisfying to figure out the deleting mechanic after some trial an error. I was secretly hoping that commands could be built from pre-existing white text with grey text gaps or spaces in between. I was wondering if there would be some puzzles like this where you needed to use pre-written letters in the opposite direction of your cursor, for example:

   l#
   e#
   f#
   t#
<nwo# d

would work as "down", say if "#" was grey and "d" was white text.

Amazing game. Would love to play a longer version with more complex puzzles

hey, thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the low framerate, I think that was probably due to the rain using a compute shader if I am understanding how bevy_hanabi works.

I am quite proud of the ambiance, but I do admit the story needs a lot of work, haha. I think the title "Regretful" actually conflicts with the protagonist's feelings. The intention was for it to be a repressed memory, but not because they felt guilty. I really ran out of time to get it to a point I was happy with.

With hindsight, I should have spent more time at the beginning designing and writing. Instead I focused most of my work on the scene, and the story was more of an afterthought.
