idk if your still pushing for steam release or not but i would scrap that plan, the vn no mercy is a light hearted novel compared to your content and it got pulled from steam and itch due to lawsuits and backlash. itch page now says (This game's files have been suspended by an itch.io administrator)

the enemies are all 5 star ranked and players characters max out at 3 stars, cant be beaten in current state.

when you download game it doesnt show option to add game to a collection for some reason, maybe its a setting you toggle but its on 90% of other games, otherwise its available at top right of page.

just change the save files if you dont have time to grind, look it up on the yt

i personally prefer the old art for game title better, showed off the in game quality of renders and stood out on the market lists more, current art blends in with the rest as lower looking quality game. idk how to word this properly but hopefully it made sense.

at the top left of the page it should say (you own this game) and theres a download box next to that you can click to get latest version as well. 

files are scanned and clean as of current version 1/5/24. some virus protection always warns you because it is unchecked files from a unknown site so always be careful but this games clean

love the game but the computer ai needs work, example: 2 live 2 blank, i cuff him and shoot twice with both lives, only 2 blanks left, he wastes using magnifier checking both blank shots and a beer can to skip 1st blank shot. real move would be using rounds on self until round ends. and saving items.
