I had trouble implementing the enemies as this was my first time dealing with enemy ai and pathfinding, I definitely could have come up with a better solution if I had the time needed to implement such system. The lack of time I had on this project really shows in some aspects of the game that I wish to fix in newer versions. Thanks for commenting!
The audio was one of the many things that I just did not have enough time to implement into this game, which I agree is a shame. I feel like it could have made the player experience way better. I will be adding audio into later versions of this game. Thanks for liking the graphics, I myself also like how they turned out. I spent a lot of time on the graphics as that is one of the things that my game usually lacks quality in. The path was probably my favorite graphical design in the project as it sits right now. A skippable cutscene would have definitely been a better idea. I tried to implement this but with my lack of time actually being able to work on this project during the game jam time frame, I was just not skilled enough to find a way to implement it into the game. I wanted to add way more content to the actual game, but I over scoped this project majorly, especially for this being my first game jam. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks for liking the graphics, I as well like the way they turned out. Sorry to inform you this, but planting doesn't actually have a use in the game as of yet. I only had about half the time of the game jam to actually work on the game, so I over scoped a lot on this project. It looks like there were a lot of people that submitted their game late, which I didn't know you'd be able to do as this is my first game jam. If I had known this, I would have worked on the game a little more, like by adding more content, or polishing the game. Anyway, thanks for the nice comment!
