to update, i tried restarting after adding the game client to steam and i'm still getting the same error message. any other ideas on how to troubleshoot this? i still think it may be anti-malware software related, but i don't see the game in the list of apps in my pc's settings to allow the game access to thingss...

whenever i enter a server i get a message in the bottom left of the screen that reads "can't reach ghost server"
i'm suspecting it has to do with my pc's permission settings since the internet connection is fine everywhere else, but i'm not sure what setting to change or how to allow access if it's a firewall problem.
anyone else experience/solve this?
