I really hope the midi import can get sorted soon. I've been enjoying using it though a bit annoyed my Sekaiju, OpenMPT or Logic Pro exports don't pick up instruments properly, I have to export it via FL Studio
That was really fun to play through, the designs are eyecatching and the back and fourth combat kept me interested. I found myself hitting the button slightly early, because even when I thought I was on beat I got damage, that seemed to keep me safe. I think the music in the second level was a bit louder than the other. I hope you'll flesh it out at some point because it's an addictive gameplay loop.
I enjoy this concept, and it fits to the theme swimmingly. To me the only thing that loses replay value is how the game over screen will always show when you have used all of your energy. It would be more addicting if it kept going :D
