Try to go to the game's files, and find the executable that has something like (shipping, 64) and launch that instead of the shortcut of the game, and do the steps I gave. Hopefully it'll work for you

My dear people! I found the fix for the 439 error

Before anything, right-click the game exe, go to Properties, Compatibility, Tick the box and set it to Windows 8, press Apply and go ahead and launch the game.  

1. As soon as you open the game, go to settings.

2. Set "Window Mode" to "Windowed" (dw you can turn it to fullscreen later with Alt+Enter)

3. Set "Resolution" to "1280*720" (I don't know if this is necessary or not, but it helped in my case)

4. Set "Shadow Quality" to "Low"

5. Set "DoF" to "Off" 

6. Press Escape, New Game, and there you go.

7. If it crashes after all these steps, worry not. Just launch it again and do not go to settings. This time just start a New Game and it should work. (That's how it worked for me)
