IMPORTANT NOTE: God of Stickfights is made to be a game where the controls are NOT a TOUGH challenge for new players, that's why don't be surprised, this guide is as simple and easy to learn as it looks!

The link leads to the official document where the controls will be updated if necessary.

HOW TO PLAY

Welcome to God of Stickfights.

The game starts with a card selection, this is the “Skills” selection round. Each of these unique cards will give you a different new move that you can use in the game with your stickman and a couple of differents stats changes.

In every game there are 7 rounds, the first player to win 4 rounds wins. (Games usually last about 10 minutes)

In the second round, the "Relics" selection rounds will begin, Relics will give you exclusive active or passive buffs for your character.

- Example Relic Passive: Critics every 3 hits.

- Example Relic Active:  New Dash in your Divine form.

------------

Now, I will explain more about how the rounds work, because it follows a certain order.

Skills: The first and fifth rounds are always skill selection rounds.

Relics: All rounds except the skill selection rounds are relics selection rounds.

Evolutions: In case you get an evolution, it will replace a relic in the relic selection rounds and will only appear in rounds 4 and 7.

------------

Now the Evolutions.

This are by far the most powerful cards in the game, will give you a good amount of statistics and an Ascended Move that obviously you can use in the battle to destroy your opponent.

But… How to evolve?

One of the main mechanics of the game is to evolve during the game, first of all you have to know that:

- Your evolution derives from the Skill you selected.

- Each Evolution has a different requirement Relic.

Basically, what you have to do to evolve is to select the correct requirement relic during the relic selection rounds depending on the skill you have chosen.

To help you in this goal, you have under the name of the relic cards a small message in purple (quite easy to notice) that warns you that this "Relic" is the one you need to evolve.

Now a number of good things to know:

- During a single game, you can evolve up to 2 times, by repeating the process of getting the requirement relic with 2 different skills.  (This is quite heavy for the server when there are 4 evolutions active at the same time in a single round, so please be patient if there are connection bugs).

- Another help for the players is that the requirement relic for your skill to evolve will always appear in the next two rounds after selecting your skill.

This means that if you want a very good relic, you can select it if is the first round after selecting your skill because it is guaranteed to appear again in the next round. *

The divine form

This is a form that every character have that transform him into practically a new characther with extreme op powerful tools during his stamina bar lasts.

The divine form is different for each character and gives him very different tools, in the case of the RED stickman, aka: Asura, the god of wrath, it gives him:

- Transform him into his titan mode.

- Super armor during all attacks.

- All its attacks are unblockable.

To give an example of how much difference there will be between the divine forms of the characters, I will write down the powers of the (unconfirmed) BLUE stickman: aka: the god of Dragons, his divine form gives him:

- Transform him into a Black Blue-Eyes Dragon that can fly freely in the battlefield.

- All his attacks corpse you with ancient magic that deals a lots of damage with the time.

- Can use powerful magic long-distance attacks when flying.

------------

With this I covered all the general unique mechanics of God of stickfights, but I didn't talk at all about the combat system, if you want to learn more, play it now!

The controls guide can be found in the in-game menu and in other post.
