Godddd the battle descriptions are SO GOOD i need to draw art post fucking haste

scratched an itch I didn't realize I had. I've actually made dresses from scratch before, but haven't had the chance to sit down with a sewing machine in a while, so it was honestly really nice to play a simulator that replicated some of the tactile feel of cutting/sewing (the tetris-ing to get as least amount of waste as possible from fabric while cutting, keeping the fabric facing the right way while sewing, etc etc). would genuinely be surprised if you said there wasn't a single person who actually sewed IRL on the team.

just wishlisted on steam, genuinely cannot wait for the full release.

if you're still in the market for feedback/suggestions:

• Different thread colors? Might be a pain to implement, but finding thread that matches my fabric (or contrasts it if I'm making a funky pattern!) is a great joy of mine
• Along those lines, maybe embroidery? Could function as an 'accessory' you can add onto the fabric, but embroidered skirts or bodices could look cool.
• Seeing the front and back of patterns in the sketchbook + adding accessories to sketches
• Sometimes the sewing machine starts sewing when I'm just trying to rotate the fabric via mouse, so maybe making the pedal/actual sewing a separate dedicated button (or buttons with fast/med/slow sew speed)
• Option for auto-attaching lace to the edge of fabric? I did it manually, but it was a bit of a pain to adjust it and get it to stop sticking to the surface underneath when pinning.
• This is really just for me, but-- at least some flavor text that lets the player know that larger pieces of scrap fabric we discard is sitting in a corner somewhere to be used for smaller projects. I feel awful and terrible discarding pieces any larger than my hand just because I need more fabric room to cut out another skirt panel <3
