Thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the controller support, I figured it might be a desirable option for a game like this. Apologies for the restart, could be an issue with Unreal 5.8.

Thank you for playing, I appreciate it! There is no save function unfortunately, I ran out of time to implement that.

This is awesome lol. I love the hamsters on the dashboard and the rear bumper. The steering mechanic is a tad clunky but it's a wonderful idea for a jam game. If there was maybe more of an indication of how much the wheel has been turned the steering would feel a bit better. The inclusion of a playground level is something every game should do, especially racing games. Great entry!

Very slick and concise, I really enjoyed this. It was very well put together and has an eerie yet comforting vibe.

What fun! The lifeless floppy monkey really got me, and the visuals are strong here. I like a good platforming challenge, nice entry!

This is cool! The sound effects and lighting in the scene when the eye gets activated are truly terrifying (in a good way!). I think the spinning gimmick is cool, if a little unwieldy. Perhaps having a traditional mariokart-like camera with an added ability to unlock the kart from the camera could be an interesting compromise. It's very impressive that you made all the assets yourself, your pixel art skills are great. Nice entry!

This is cool, I really like the audio cues and the UI for picking up items. I think it could feel better for the player if items used a different button to the punch, like E or RMB. The visual style is cool and very zen, and it would really shine with some more dedicated art instead of using the default unreal engine materials. Your strengths are definitely on display here, especially considering that you had to rush it!

This is funny and creative. The intro cutscene and the death screen are so funny, I love the tone of this game! I wish there was a little more direction for the player - i wasn't sure what my spin move actually does or how I was supposed to defeat the enemies. I also noticed that I could move the camera with my mouse in a way that seemed unintended. Overall an enjoyable entry, keep it up!

This is cool! I like how some of the traffic cars overtake each other, it makes them feel like real drivers. It has a fun and silly tone which I enjoyed.

This is my plane flying game!

The gameplay itself could use a little polishing, but I totally see the potential. And it's very impressive that you made most of the assets in such a short timespan! Keep it up.

This is awesome and very stylish. I like the UI, sound effects and the post-duel graph. It feels very professional, nice work to all involved!

This is cool, I love the central mechanic. Changing the amount of time available for each form is a very clever way to affect the difficulty and tie into the design of the level. Well done!

This is great, I actually found it quite relaxing! I love all the meme choices, they're very fun additions and bring a lot of heart to the game. I can see this being very engrossing if it had some extra mechanics.

This is great fun! I love the weapon choices, and the style feels very convincingly retro.

Thank you very much!

Thank you for the kind words!! And yes I completely agree with all of your points, I originally wanted to include all of your suggested gameplay mechanics. And I also agree the assets could use a lot more polish, I wanted to use the week to improve my 3D modelling skills so they're quite rushed. Thank you for playing and providing such detailed feedback! I hope to incorporate some of your points when I continue working on the game.

This is fantastic, such a perfect encapsulation of an idea. Love the film noir styling as well. Great work!!!

Thank you! And yes I agree, I wish I had added some sort of win state. Also yes you're right it's in dev mode! Interestingly the packaging settings are 100% set to "shipping". Might be a bug with 5.8. Thank you for playing!

Wow fantastic work!!! I couldn't stop playing until I won. Music, art, gameplay and UI were all top notch. Everything feels so polished.

That could be it, I played it right after the deadline and came back to comment today. Glad to know you were able to implement some updates!

This is so cute and well executed.

This is cool! I really like the atmosphere and soundscape. I like the concept of making a gamble to please the gods. The instant nature of the kill is brutal and feeds into the dark vibe. My main point of feedback is that there seems to be no stakes in the choice between talking to NPCs or just killing them straight away. I had free reign to kill whoever I liked, and thus there wasn't much challenge to it. I really liked the medieval town and the camera perspective as well, it feels very unique. Great work!

This is great! The theme is very strong, and a little bit of an untapped market in games imo. A really cool take on the "vampire survivors-like" genre. I wish there was a tad more feedback when I damaged enemies, maybe a sound effect or on-hit particle effect rather than them just glowing red when lit on fire. Really cool game.

This is so cool and atmospheric. I got genuinely very scared in the corridors while searching for more gears to add to the wall. It took me a couple of tries to understand what I was meant to do at the start, I didn't even see the crank the first time around and was a bit lost. I think it would be helpful to have a little bit more direction in those particular circumstances. Otherwise I really liked the in-world map and visual cues, it felt very immersive. Great work!

Thank you! I spent quite a bit of time fine tuning the feel of the plane.

This is a fun little game! I like how well the opening cutscene explains the mechanic.

Stay safe, friend!

The visuals and audio are really solid here. I love the design of the menus, they're so strange and cool (if not quite as user-friendly as a typical design). I found the opening level to be a little inconsistent, the door would open a different amount each time I spun the valve. I'm also unsure how the player is supposed to know where some of the traps are, it felt a little unfair as I was dying to the spikes quite quickly. I reckon this would be super cool if a couple of those gameplay flows were tightened up a little bit! I can tell a lot of work went into this, good stuff!

This is a fun project! I love the design of Spindo, it feels very authentic to the N64 style which has been replicated so well.

This is awesome, I can totally see this being a full game. The full options menu and flow of gameplay is very impressive. I love the characters, especially the juniper cameo. Really great vibe and atmosphere, I like the concept of being a DJ for a remote radio station. I will say, I found it easy to break the intended flow of events, e.g. I talked to the radio producer a second time and the instruction to play the first record came back, despite me having already started the second one. I also had an issue after arriving at the town where the camera would continue looking left or right, even if I stopped moving the mouse. It stopped when I got to the radio station. I'm keen to follow along with this project, it's very compelling!

The art is wonderful, I can see how much work was put into this. I like the feel of running a one person ship, dashing between different stations to attend to different needs. The lighting and atmosphere are great, it was so cool to fly into a storm and have to rush to repair my ship. I think it would help to be a bit more clear during the tutorial as to which part of the ship I'm learning about, there were a couple of times where I wasn't sure which station to use. Really great effort overall.

This is a cool proof of concept. The controls felt very fluid, I would love to see this developed further with some dedicated art.

A cool and tightly designed little puzzle game. I appreciated the corporate satire of the voiceovers. My only real feedback is that the weightless movement felt overly sticky when touching a surface in a way that wasn't super enjoyable, but it did make for a good puzzle mechanic. It's definitely one of the most polished entries I've played so far!

This is cool, I love the vibe of the cityscape in the background. The controls were pretty solid too. It felt pretty zen to play, and I like the music choice.

This is fun! I think the level of challenge is good. I like the mousewheel scrolling as a thematic choice but I found it a little challenging on my tendons to steer the donut and also scroll fast enough to get some good speed. The opening cutscene was genuinely one of the best things I've seen in this jam so far. Really great stuff!
