Very nice and polished game, love the artsyle and sounds 馃憤.
But I think :
1. Game needs some sort of tutorial in the beginning.
2. Story/lore for game.
3. Tooltips so that when a beginner hovers over elements they get a detailed description of what that thing is, what is it's use, what would be the problem if this number gets low, etc.
4. Multiple exits maybe? Player needs to choose an exit which'll have different consequences or may lead player to different types of levels.
5. More variety in enemies.
It's been a while since I enjoyed a game. It's casual but quite interesting.
I'm unable to register. The register tab button does not work. It doesn't even get focus. I tried clicking, and even tabbing through all UI elements, but the register button never got the focus. How can a potential player play if they can't even register? Also it would be better if players could play for a session without having to create an account. Players can play in guest mode, where a temp id would be given to them for the session. Once the session ends, the temp account gets destroyed. With this, potential players can try out the game without having to create an account.
Nice game! For those playing new to linux gaming and playing on fedora linux, you need to extract the zipped file, then right click on the `.x86_64` file, and in the properties make it executable. After that right click the file and the game will start. For the 64 bit version wait for a couple of seconds even if it gives a warning. The game will soon start.
Platform: Fedora Linux, Web
Looking through mouse (I used a touchpad) is impossible. Maybe not the game's fault, alas I tried it 3 times but couldn't get it to work. Looks like a nice game though.
Edit: It worked after doing full-screen. I think some instructions before the game starts would help a player figure out what's going on. I played multiple times before figuring out that you are in bullet time when the level starts.
Yes, the tutorial is not bad, and the 'Start Combat' is just right side the card. However please try to understand this from my perspective. I don't really play games that much recently, although in the past I have played Skyrim, Metal Gear Solid 5,etc., and also mobile games like PUBG. Have also played text games. I had no problem identifying buttons or such in any of these games, and that's the point I'm trying to make.
Just like how every website has it's own design pallete for buttons, links, cards, etc., making sure that every similar element looks the same, so should be for the UI of a game.
I think one of the following things may work:
1. Giving the text some background effect so it catches the player's attention.
2. Giving uniform styles to buttons throughout the game (or at least the tutorial).
TLDR; it's just me being dumb, but you can also use this feedback in a constructive way. I mean I've already typed such a long reply. Surely we can't let it go to waste, right?
