The local slug population is in shambles

Pretty rough, sorry :( I do like the player character though

(1 edit)

Love how bold your colours are, they really pop. This might be a hot take but I feel like you could maybe develop this further as a rhythm game? Everything was in threes and I just got a musical vibe from it all

I love the WarioWare style and your visual design is super tight. I have absolutely no idea how to beat the stork or the rat level though :(

I'm really sorry but I don't quite *get* it? There seems to be quite a lot to it from your screenshots but I can't find how to progress from the first screen

Shovel animation is so so smooth. Beautiful work all round

Really lovely visual design, I was a bit disappointed that the game just ended? It would have been nice to be shown my score because as it stands the score is kinda pointless. Either way, pretty fun little game

I absolutely love this. Please expand on this idea!

Sorry to hear you had some trouble with the leaderboards, I've not had anybody else mention issues but you never know how hardware and browser differences will affect functionality. It's *supposed* to be up/down to select characters and left/right to change position, with "A" to accept or "B" to cancel. Love to see the high score though, very well done! Its the highest one i've seen posted so far

Our sound designer actually surprised me with a second unique track to play during the levels but I didn't have time to refactor to include it (without just randomly picking a song on start). Once the jam is over i'll make sure its added! Thanks for your kind words!

I've played this the most out of everything i've rated so far! Super polished experience

Really fun, I was a bit upset that it just ended once i'd paid off the $500 though, I assumed i'd just get to keep digging deeper until I found the cache. You should develop this further as its a fun little loop

I think this is really close to being really good, maybe I just wasn't quite getting it but I could never seem to actually get the weapons to hit some enemies? Otherwise though, I love the fluidity, I love your animations, and your music is incredible. Favourite music so far

Pretty impressive that you managed to incorporate different boss fights (even if they were functionally the same). Unfortunately I got softlocked on day 5 after opening the chest in the center, I wasn't allowed to progress back down to the main path so I wasn't able to finish the game

There isn't anything here to really comment on as I got to the "thanks for playing" screen in roughly 10 seconds. I did kinda like the perspective view of the inside of the house though

I don't know what Churro and Miles have done to deserve this onslaught. Absolute carnage out in the garden

I actually think the evolution aspect was my least favourite bit. I don't know if it was because the character was so much bigger but to me it felt less fun to play after evolving. Otherwise very serviceable snake clone that felt authentic :)

ill give it another try with that in mind, thanks!

I had fun playing this. It gets insanely easy pretty quickly but it was a nice change of pace from digging games. Good job!

Pinball enthusiasts unite!

A really sweet game, its a shame that there isn't a narrative category because you'd sweep it

I love that this was a bit different, and the pdf coin book was a nice touch - very reminiscent of a game manual even if it was a bit awkward to flick between the game and the book. Really nice job!

Props for using GB studio, it feels really authentic. You've got some really lovely sprites too. Its held back a little by the turn speed being quite slow so getting around is a chore, which is a shame because the environments are great

I had the most fun just zipping around with the harpoon :D

Some really beautiful animation work here, and I liked that you leaned into a proper narrative. Really good job for your first jams, you should be proud

I like the mechanic but you should change the colour of your in-game text, it's the same colour as the background so I can't read it

I like this a lot, really impressive for a solo developer, good job!

There are no files :(

I don't really know what's going on but I enjoy playing it and I love your colour choices

The screenshots look good but there's no game to play :(

Clawd is the GOAT

This is actually really fun, I beat all the puzzles. It would be fun to be able to see some par times for each painting

I can't seem to actually hit any of the targets? My projectiles seem to pass straight through them

There is no game to play :(

This is hard as anything, but it works. So good job

Dungeon crawler style is fun, and those character portraits are really well made

Kinda jank but I actually enjoyed playing this and I like that you got creative with the theme

Oops, I totally forgot about the undo!

I spent way longer just mining than I thought I would
