Go back to the CoD season 1 installation and finish the last chapter again, it then exports details again for the season 2 CoD installation and you can continue your save in season 2 with your normal name.

If that does not help check if the CoD directory with saves is in the renpy subfolder of the %APPDATA% diretctory is present.

I am somehow stuck with the Magic route storyline. It says I have to 'continue magic route story-line to progress' but it does not say how and I have been searching for a couple of hours by now.

Thats a bug, if it happens you have to reload your last save and retry the fight.

It might just be a coincidence, but every time I had the same problem Larelle had used some of her death type magic on the golem. But I never tried it out statistically.
