on it.

Thanks for "Report" i will look into it.

but 5./6. is still in development might take a couple of Patches.

Honestly, I don’t know about that. Whenever I run into an error, bug, or something like that, I usually just brute-force my way through it, search GitHub, or watch random YouTube tutorials.

Or maybe it’s just some autism magic.

I can tell you, it's miserable sometimes. I'm already working on v0.50–0.51, and you can't even imagine how many times I've had to roll back new content because of messy code. But with enough coffee and some random midnight motivation, it's manageable.

Hi, "Dev" here.

If you're interested in the game, just want to flame me, or actually have serious ideas, bug reports, errors, suggestions, or whatever else — please read the Development Log.

That's where I'll post updates, changes, known issues, plans, and other stuff related to the development of the game.

So, first things first: yes, of course it's an AI game... Boohoo, I know, I know. But I can't code, animate, or draw for shit, so please just deal with it.

So, what is this then?

This is my first time "making" a game of any kind. It's a fan-made (I'm the fan, duh) love child of Course of Temptation and Lilith's Throne.

I'm genuinely a huge fan of both H-games and text-based games, and those two are fucking awesome. Seriously, go play them.

I've always wanted a text-based school/fantasy/sandbox game of my own, so over the last 6–7 days I started playing around with ChatGPT's coding features and, yare yare daze... this is now the prototype of a prototype of an attempt to make "my" very own game.

For the foreseeable future, it is and will remain completely free and ad-free.

If I eventually manage to find artists for the items, icons, splash art, portraits, and so on, I might add some kind of optional donation system — but the game itself is intended to stay free.

And if you couldn't already tell from my questionable English: I'm just some random Bürger der Staatsrepublik Deutschland, juhu. (German.)

So please, if you find any errors, weird spelling, broken English, bugs, or anything else — or if you'd even like to help with translations — just hit me up under this post.

Any feedback, corrections, ideas, or suggestions are very welcome. :)

School of Desire

School of Desire is a text-based 18+ fantasy college sandbox RPG focused on relationships, social interaction, character development and adult encounters.

You arrive at a fantasy academy filled with humans, demons, elves, beastfolk and other supernatural students. Attend classes, meet people around campus, join a club, explore the nearby city, build friendships and rivalries, go on dates, develop romances — or pursue much more intimate relationships.

The goal is to create a living sandbox where characters remember what happened between you and react accordingly over time.

All characters involved in romantic or adult content are fictional adults aged 18 or older.

What can you do?

School of Desire currently includes:

  • A full character creator with customizable appearance, anatomy, species, interests and preferences
  • Six major story NPCs with individual personalities, relationship paths and story events
  • Dozens of persistent randomly generated students
  • Friendship, trust, respect, attraction, romance, rivalry and lust systems
  • Persistent NPC memories and long-term callbacks
  • Classes and classroom interactions
  • Ten different student clubs with scheduled meetings and activities
  • Dorm rooms, lounges, showers and campus life
  • A connected campus and city with real travel time
  • Cafés, shops, bars and nightlife
  • Dates, hangouts and NPC invitations
  • A phone system with contacts, messages and follow-up events
  • Clothing, underwear, accessories, piercings and equipment
  • Shops, gifts and NPC inventories
  • Pickpocketing and wardrobe interactions
  • Character progression, levels and perks
  • Deterministic world generation with customizable seeds
  • Multiple fantasy species and world-generation biases
  • Dynamic NPC schedules and initiative
  • Pregnancy and fertility systems
  • Consensual dominance/submission relationship dynamics
  • Toys and wearable gear
  • Persistent clothing states and stains
  • English and German localization

Adult Encounters

Adult encounters are handled through a persistent, turn-based scene system rather than a single scripted choice.

Scenes can react to:

  • Relationship history
  • Character personality
  • Clothing
  • Anatomy
  • Preferences
  • Position
  • Pace
  • Who is taking the lead
  • Toys and equipment
  • Previous actions
  • Memories
  • Pregnancy
  • Power dynamics
  • Previous encounters with the same character

Characters can also take initiative depending on their personality, relationship with you and the situation.

Consent and character boundaries are treated as hard gameplay rules. Preferences, intoxication, relationship status or power dynamics never override established boundaries.

Relationships Matter

One of the main goals of School of Desire is to make relationships feel persistent rather than treating NPCs as isolated encounters.

Characters remember important interactions.

A conversation, gift, date, argument, intimate encounter or embarrassing moment can affect later dialogue and events.

The six main NPCs — Maya Vale, Lena Hart, Rowan Ash, Dorian Blackwell, Iris Voss and Theo Mercer — are gradually receiving larger multi-stage relationship and story arcs with unique events and phone callbacks.

A Living College Sandbox

Your days follow a loose college schedule:

Wake up → Classes → Lunch → Classes → Clubs → Free Time → Dates / City → Nightlife → Dorm → Sleep

You are free to ignore parts of that schedule, explore the campus, spend time with characters or pursue your own goals.

NPCs also have schedules and move between classes, clubs, shops, cafés, dorm areas and nightlife locations.

Different world seeds can significantly change the atmosphere of a playthrough, including NPC demographics, species distribution, personalities, fashion, preferences and social initiative.

Current Development Status

Current public test version: v0.47.0

School of Desire is still in active development.

The underlying sandbox systems are already substantial, so current development is increasingly focused on content depth rather than simply adding more systems.

Current priorities include:

  • Larger story arcs for the six main NPCs
  • More relationship stages and long-term consequences
  • More NPC-specific dialogue
  • More phone callbacks across multiple in-game days
  • More classroom events
  • More club-specific events
  • More dorm and campus encounters
  • More location-specific events
  • More reactions to previous relationships and encounters
  • More variety in adult scenes
  • Better long-term balancing
  • UI and quality-of-life improvements

The game currently uses Save Schema v21, and maintaining compatibility with existing saves is an important development goal.

Why release it now?

I am opening School of Desire to testers because the project has reached the point where outside feedback is much more valuable than simply adding features in isolation.

I especially want feedback about:

  • Which characters you find interesting
  • Which relationships need more depth
  • Events you would like to see
  • Areas of the campus that feel empty
  • Repetitive dialogue or encounters
  • Features that are difficult to understand
  • Balance and progression
  • Bugs
  • UI problems
  • Ideas for clubs, classes, dates and campus events
  • New fantasy species or world-generation ideas
  • Clothing and item ideas
  • Adult encounter variety
  • Long-term consequences you would like characters to remember

Suggestions do not need to be extremely detailed. Even something as simple as:

"I wish the Book Club had more events."

or

"It would be cool if an NPC remembered this several days later."

is useful feedback.

Development Philosophy

School of Desire is intended to remain primarily a:

Story-driven fantasy college sandbox focused on relationships, NPC reactivity and adult content.

Combat is not currently a development priority.

The aim is to deepen existing characters and systems rather than constantly adding disconnected mechanics.

Existing saves, deterministic world generation and stable gameplay IDs are also intentionally preserved whenever possible.

Feedback

This build is being released specifically for testing, feedback and ideas.

If you encounter a bug, please include as much context as possible:

  • Game version
  • What you were doing
  • Where it happened
  • Which NPC was involved
  • Whether it happens consistently
  • Your world seed, if relevant

And if you simply have an idea for a character, event, relationship, club, location or mechanic, feel free to share it.

The project is still evolving, and community feedback will help decide which parts of the academy receive the most attention next.
