Game jams are a great place to get to know other game makers in the community and then team-up with people with the skills you lack. I'd argue that clinging to being a "solo developer" is the problem that you're patching with AI, which simply is against the spirit of participating in the first place.

I encourage you to seek out some teammates.

I couldn't find the last food 🥲

🤣 Anything to do with cats will get my attention. Coot pictures... now I need to go look after my real cat

I love the art style; you don't often see the clay look.

Cool concept that poots a KRANKEN good spin on the Hungry Eveolution games. I like the challenge that getting the interesting food often meant dodging the fish swimming in way.

Two things that I would've liked to see in the game:

An "Endless Mode" message after levelling to 10, just to let me know that I've basically finished the game, and now it's about high score.

And maybe some punishment for attempting to eat a creature I'm not big enough to eat, and maybe also let hunger ticket down as time goes to make a sense of urgency.

Yep, AI-generated music. I'm glad you liked the songs we came up with.

Hi, thanks for the review.

There was a bit of a bug in the game after exporting it to WebGL where the beats/bubbles weren't spawning in the right place, thus not timed correctly to the song. We've since fixed most of the issues in the game, so I hope you'll try it after the game jam ends and we can upload the patch.

We initially did have the mechanic for each beat of the song to have its own key to press, you can see the remnants of this in each beat/bubble that indicates to press "space". However, we decided it would be too difficult for the player. But it's definitely something I'll bring back in the patch.

Your games always impress
