I've always been a sucker for stories revolving around food as a metaphor/language of love, and this really hit the mark. Such a genius idea to have Mei talk to various ancestors and listen to different perspectives on coping with grief and understanding how others express love.
You should know that this specific line from her grandfather made me tear up a bit: "But it'll also hit you when you see something beautiful and wish you could tell her." If that doesn't tear your heart apart, I don't know what will.
Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story about heritage and doing what you can to continue it. I had so much fun with the cooking minigames, and I loved how it was gradually spaced out between interactions; I went "omg" at the part where you have to wash your hands because YEAH, I do have to! (Now I'm craving noodles and dumplings hehehe :D)
Hello there! Gosh, I have to say that this game feels like it was made for me. I've always been drawn to space concepts and cute/soft art styles, not to mention the little cooking games! (I'm in love with the creative ingredients and dishes that I've seen so far.)
The characters are soooo lovely and well-designed too! I'm incredibly interested in each of them and I'm looking forward to trying all their routes in the future. I hope to see more of this game soon, it is truly promising! I'll do what I can to support it :D <3
