Planet Penguin
Good:
+Targeting Icon is great. Lets the player know exactly whats going on.
+Arrow pointing towards the flag, when player is near, is great. Helps guide the player towards objectives.
+Score on Game over Screen is great. Pushing the player to achieve more.
+Player Ability and Upgrades feel good. Damage and Health ratios scale nicely with each other. But Game Economy is a bit lacking.
+Not Enough Coins Feedback++
+Good Environment Design.
+Penguin "Death" animation++
Bad:
+Build Name does not match project name.
+More feedback when Penguin Level increases would be good. Good opportunity for more Juice.
+White Damage flash is a bit hard to read on Penguins. Try to use a Color other than the Main Color of the object.
+No Damage Feedback when the player takes hit. Would like to see a damage flash or animation here.
+All the Upgrades cost the same amount of coins. Is each Upgrade equally impactful to gameplay?
+The end gamestate of finding all the flags conflicts with the go infinite strategy of the gameplay and upgrades. I would have liked to see either more Flags to collect, possibly contributing to overall score. Or to tie the Penguin Level increasing to the capture of the flags, with a gameplay reason on why the player wants higher penguin levels. Maybe more Coins drop so I can pay for my more expensive upgrades?
+Upgrades dont increase cost per upgrade level.
+Flags can spawn too close to eachother, making the game very easy to beat. But isnt as satisfying.
+More intersting enemy behaviours would be nice. Penguin attacks could be more responsive, and I dont feel much pressure from their attacks over all.
+Upgrade UI could use a reskin.
+After enough upgrades I become unkillable. I need the penguins to pressure me more. Try increasing your penguin spawner or increasing their movement speed, up to a limit. Bigger Penguins with more health might also work. This also makes it hard to exit the game I have to shut it down manually.
+"SPACE" graphic is clearly blurry. Same with the image on the Game Over Screen. Look into your Asset Settings, textures sometimes get filtering applied to them, which can cause pixel art to become blurry instead of crisp pixels.
+Projectiles are not orientated to the direction they are moving.
