How do I get to the finale scene? I've done the movie scene but nothing new is happening, it's been many days and nothing is changing.

I have been fighting that thing for at least half an hour. I have spent plenty enough time trying to figure it out myself.

The sleep potion so do absolutely nothing- he loses a turn but I lose a turn doing it, so I gain nothing from it. The health potions, even the great ones, barely help. It does so much damage that I lose more than I just gained next turn anyway, so I only get maybe one extra turn. Plus using potions removes my ability to attack, so I am alive longer but do less damage, so by using potions I am actually less effective. 

this is so far a great game, however the gargoyle is practically impossible to beat, even at lvl 10

Damn this game it sooooo good. Can't wait to play more of it!
