I just tried it and it still says invalid

i know you mentioned you didnt see the days of future past theme but this piano is nostalgic and reminiscent. very on theme to me hahah

very thematic. the metronome and watch ticking fit the theme nicely. the recurring motif is satisfying, good stuff!

i liked the reoccurring kalimba sound, calibrate was my favourite. very cool setup!

both songs are strong, love the concept and the synth wave vibes. I gotta say part 2 is my favourite for sure. you’re choice of instrumentation is very simple and allows your creative lead melody to shine. the rhythm of the track is infectious!

thank you! Carmine spent a lot of time on Tempo!

I appreciate it!

love the drums at 3:00. your track has a lot of elements but doesn’t feel crowded, well mixed!

beautiful and haunting. world of ashes is definitely my favourite. using a granular synth to process Dies Irae is a very creative take on the fragment. well done!

thank you for the the detailed comment! unfortunately we uploaded them in the wrong order the track list is: Where did i go, Sitting in between, Emergency, Worm, On my Way. The vocals in On My Way are actually me singing and Carmine heavily processed them. About the short story, we were very ambiguous with it, we intended to leave the meaning up to the readers interpretation, which definitely could’ve have made it less engaging.

also incase youre curious here are the songs and which acts they relate to: Act 1: Where did i Go, Sitting in between Act 2: Emergency, Worm Act 3: On My Way

Thanks again for the comment and perspective! much appreciated

thanks Robert! On My Way is certainly our favourite as well. the reason it was posted as YouTube shorts is because we uploaded the video with a 4:3 aspect ratio so YouTube wouldn’t let us post it as a normal video (definitely wont be making that mistake again) as for the game concept i suppose we were more interested in the narrative as opposed to the gameplay, thus the short story. thank you for the feedback and taking the time to write such a detailed review!

very well designed, spooky atmosphere. the face appearing then disappearing from the wall was sooo unsettling. I thought the sensitivity was a bit low and the second time booting the game I just got a black screen after loading in. super intuitive to play though.

I love this! the ricocheting is sooo satisfying. i could see a really cool progression system being implemented, adding bowling balls with different throw patterns, sizes, speeds for different situations. so much potential

intuitive, i like the shield pickup mechanic.

Very cool, i could see this becoming a beautiful chaos if it’s developed further!

i love how hard you throw the packages

Very difficult but very well made, love the music!

this game is good, i am not smart enough for this conveyor belt

yeah i can get behind this

very satisfying!

Literally in love w this game

all the elements are pretty, i think another section with a different melody (or just recontextualized) would really flesh out this song.

me, a landlubber, did not heed your warning. I've been turned to paste. this goes crazy, the different sections connect very nicely.

i love the different bass sounds! and the synth wind instruments really add to the volcanic theme

Very cool, dark cyberpunkien soundscape. I love the tension and choice of percussive instruments

They were both recorded by me! I thinned them out with EQ and added a dry dark plate reverb o that they would it in the track better. Thanks for the question!

Thanks!

Thank you i was going for outerwilds! I'm glad you liked that chord, i was very pleased with it haha

this is so sweet and nostalgic. one nitpick, after your moment of silence at 1:10 i was anticipating more of a change up or climax, especially because you did a good job creating tension just before. that being said I'm not sure your song would benefit from a climax there.

very well orchestrated! the sfx fit the track really well. one question, are you using the free version of BBC symphony orchestra?

I love the sense of triumph with the key change at the end! Although i think a bit more rule breaking could be done. That being said, well done challenging yourself with the piano!

uuggh oohh im so sleeepy now. so pretty! a beautiful lullaby indeed.

uuggh oohh im so sleeepy now. so pretty! a beautiful lullaby indeed.

your gear is chaotically beautiful

cool to see a trap beat here! the 808s go crazy

Thank you very much! I certainly was trying to evoke a sweetness and sense of triumph I'm glad that came through

i love how complex your synths are! did you make them yourself?  the arpeggiator in particular is very satisfying!

this is the coziest mountain i have ever laid my ears on. i love the personality of the guitar. captured the starry vibe very well!

I love your choice of synths, The low end is super clean and satisfying. Very well mixed!
