Thank you! I agree, the game is still quite simple. I added some recorded sounds, but I didn’t have enough time to add music or proper animations during the jam. I’m working on an improved version now with better feedback and small pop-up reactions to make it feel more alive. Thanks for playing!

Thank you so much! Nice to see another GDevelop user here too 👋

I totally agree about the icon showing what the beast wants. Reading the text while playing can be hard, so I’ll try to add a visual food indicator in the improved version.

I’m glad you completed the game and that the length felt right for a jam game. Thanks again for the feedback and the kind words 💚

I don’t have the Trijam Discord yet, but I’d definitely be interested in teaming up for a future GDevelop jam. If you want, feel free to send me your Discord name or another way to contact you!

Thank you! I’m really glad you won and enjoyed the length of the game. I wanted it to stay short and simple, but still feel a little tense. Happy you managed to make the beast happy!

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate the recording, it’s very useful to see how someone else plays the game. I’m glad you liked the recorded sounds and the character/beast art too!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I agree, adding more monster reactions and better pop-up feedback would make the game feel more alive. I’ll keep that in mind for future improvements!

Nice arcade driving feel! The car controls are fun, the music fits well, and the smoke VFX when drifting is a nice touch. I also liked that the menus and pause/restart system were already working.

I understand you didn’t have time to implement the jam theme, so the game feels a bit disconnected from “Feed The Beast”, but as a small driving prototype it works pretty well.

My main feedback would be that I wish the track was longer or had more challenge, since there is no real danger or penalty. Also, leaving the map makes you fall into the void, so some invisible walls or terrain polish would help.

Good job overall, especially for a short jam!

Nice atmosphere! I liked the forest setting, the fog, and the idea of the beast being inside the cabin. The moving grass and the player shadow also add a nice touch.

I think the main thing that could be improved is the interaction flow: picking up and feeding the apples felt a bit slow/confusing at first. It would also help to have a clearer end screen or a restart/quit button after winning, instead of needing to Alt+F4.

Good job for a 3-hour jam!

Thank you! I’m glad the UI helped. I wanted to make the rules clear quickly since it was made for a 3-hour jam.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the toxic slime placement can be a bit unfair sometimes. I’ll keep that in mind for future balancing.

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it. I’ll definitely check out your game too!
