THIS GAME IS SO ADDICTIVE!!! Collecting the asteroids and satellites felt so satisfying! Well done :)

I was thinking about adding terrain obstacles and different map layouts, but my time ran out. An achievement system would be interesting too :)

Love this interpretation! But killing too many people can bar you from being hired, so maybe one can only walk over so many corpses :)

The art in this game is amazing!!! Really cool premise as well. My only nit-pick is that it can get quite annoying in the factory minigame as you can never grab the spirit you want.  Apart from that, great work :)

One debt to arcane forces later...

Another EASTER EGG (This time completely unintended and I'm leaving it in because it's funny)

If you get a score between 5-8, you'll see a little line of text that I put as a placeholder.

Undertale influence manages to find its way into every game I make lol

Congrats on your first game jam entry! Glad I'm not the only one doing this jam under the pressure of studies lol. The mechanic for your game was creative and the pixel art looked good. Obviously time restraints got in the way but nice work :)

For a first game jam entry with Unity, this is good progress! Well done adding the power-ups too :)

(1 edit)

Really good design! The puzzles felt open-ended enough so that the player can figure out whatever dead body platform layout works best for them to pass each level. Nice work :)

I really like the game's mechanic and puzzles! The pixel art is cute as well. Short and sweet :)

The game's mechanic is a creative take on the theme. I like the pixel art as well! Nice work :)

I really like the dark SNES-like pixel art! The pogo felt a little hard to control since it naturally drifts to the right. But apart from that, this is a solid game :)

I LAUGHED THROUGHOUT THIS GAME!!! Grimmly was such a joy to be around and I appreciate the ShovelJam reference lol. Also the song!!! Just wow!!!

Highest score I got was 1303.02m! It was fun to play, but the start was a bit difficult as it was easy to run into the cacti immediately. If there was a gap between starting and the first upcoming cacti then it would be fairer to the player :)

Really creative premise! I liked the puzzle-solving element, especially with the second guy. If you had more time, you could flesh out more interesting puzzles! Apart from it being slightly unclear which items are interactable (an outline appearing when the mouse hovers over them could be more clear), it was a fun, short game. Well done on your first game jam entry

I really enjoyed the storytelling! The pixel art is really nice as well. Simple but fun :)

I'm stupid idk how I put GMTK as later than Brackey's aaaa! I just checked now and you're right I have no idea how I messed that up. Sorry about the wrong question

Proud of my high score! Well done on your first game jam submission. I've noticed you can still press the Ted Hansons a little while after they completely fade, which makes the game quite forgiving for late clicks. Apart from that, the game is fun

Someone pointed out that the boss fight might be too hard for computer monitors with higher Hz (an error on my end). If you play with a lower frame rate (60-80Hz) it’ll be more like how I originally intended :)

I have truly been educated in the ways of the snail! The quiz at the end was funny and I liked how the big snail was teased before encountering it properly. Well done on making such a good game as your first game jam entry

The game has so much personality, on top of being fun and polished!

A couple people have said the distractions move too fast. I think I should have put them under a physics process(delta) to solve it? My computer works on a lower frame rate so I must have overlooked that part.

I’ll keep that in mind for future projects. Thanks :)

The movement felt very smooth and the player character is really cute! The levels were challenging, but I noticed in level 5 you could fall off in some parts and not respawn (if you glitch through a barrier or fall at the very start). Apart from that, the game is really well-executed.

This is really addictive! I tried so hard to get a good highscore (got 1910 points). The leaderboard system also pushes the player to replay. It would be cool if we could type our own names but the game is still very polished and fun!

The pixel art is cute and the game's concept is a good interpretation of the theme!

I really enjoyed this game! I made it to the top and found the difficulty a nice challenge :)

This game felt so polished and the pixel art looks great!

The game is fun! Perfectly encapsulates a game jam version of Zelda. The boss is too hard at the end but, apart from that, it's a great puzzle.

Thanks :) You're game is a good laugh as well!

The world doesn't deserve Crabbert!

This game is great! The difficulty progression is fair and does get quite challenging. I got stuck in the room with the spinning enemy by the edge and the magic-immune enemy, and I couldn't tell what I was supposed to do (but maybe that's just a skill issue). Aside from that, it is very fun!
