Yeah, people are right, you shouldn’t get hung up on scenes, but that's easier said than done. Speaking from experience, I didn't write a lot either the last couple of days.

The VN I help with is Max’s Life Chapter 5
I wrote almost the entire 046 update (Everything related to Natalie and the pool scene before)
I wrote half of the 048 update (only the big lead up with Emma, but not the end at the party or what happens before)
I wrote most of the 049 update (I wrote the Nun action scenes, and created the Alisia scenes)
I wrote updates 050 and 051 (yep, I wrote all that.)
Update 052 is the next one, I will only fix typos in this one when I get a finished version.
From update 053 on there should be to 90+% my writing if nothing changes. But that will take another 3+ months until you see an 053 release.
I’m not involved with most of the NTR stuff and you can turn it off, it’s just fan service anyway. Those NTR scenes are not canon for the story.

We once talked about your discord over a year ago.
Back then, I told you, I’m helping someone to finish his VN.
Now it’s about time for the final act.
Three weeks ago it was 47 pages long and was written in 2022.
I told the guy I’m done in a week. But I wasn’t happy with it, now the script is 73 pages long. The fun part is, I still have an idea for after the credits and I might add another 2 or three pages.

Long story short. After investing a lot of time, I finally finished the current build.
At first, I had a great time, because it played very much like most dating games and I had a lot of fun, looking forward to the next time I could play.
However, after some time following the stories of all girls, the game turns into something completely different and focuses on politics, religion and corporations and even adds more heavy topics to slavery, like revolution, genocide and mental illness.
With all the heavy stuff going on, the story became a choir to read. Rarely nice moments happen in the end as everything gets overshadowed by all the problems the characters have. The story often gets extremely depressing or feels dull and is in the end not the same as it was for the first hours, where it was all about dating cute girls.
At the same time there is actually little romance. Romance scenes are quite short while drama keeps on going without an end, which is really sad.
I’m not sure if I want to play more of this game if it’s 95% drama and when something nice actually is happening I’m so depressed that I’m not in the mood for that anymore.
While the game is called Harem Hotel, there are not many harem activities in the end after completing the dating and romance part with the individual girls.
