Fun! Also love the Flight of the Bumblebee in the backgroundl My score was only 30 :P

thanks so much for playing! I’ll try to figure out how to fix that issue, but you didn’t miss out on much, that was the ending.

Super appreciate it!

Really nice style and the character controller feel really nice, but I think the level design is too unforgiving. I could barely make it into the game because the jumps were too hard. How do you get up to the high platform? But really good job on the presentation, it's a very pretty game.

It says that there is no game yet?

This was so cute. The dialogue was really great! I think there was a bit of a bug with the review thing, though. Great job with the screen effects! My favorite character was the cat.

Very very awesome style. What engine are you using?

The maze is a bit too complex for my taste, I feel like the interesting part of the game is the choice part, not so much the frustrating maze.

But the tone, style, and vibe of this game is immaculate, Well done!

Wow! This was a really fun game, I'm impressed. I didn't expect it to be a puzzle game until I ate the first bite, but then I really liked the main mechanic. I also like how you have that iterative level design like so many classic puzzle games. The puzzle design is really good, and the platforming challenges feel fair and balanced. There's also quite a lot of content in this -- I got to 40 attempts and about 4 levels into the bounce pad section.

Really great job!

This was nice, I like the interpretation of the special object, very creative :)

I think some things to look into that could improve the game would be some tweening algorithms for the player movement, currently its quite floaty, but you could make it more refined with some tweening.

I also think that more time could have been spent on the presentation and polish -- stuff like getting hit causing a screen shake or something like that.

Great job though, this is very impressive for a one person team under a time limit!

This is a fever dream lmao

But in all seriousness I thought it was a really interesting concept but it's just really hard to focus on two things at once, I feel like it needs to be more forgiving even on easy for a player to get anything out of it

but yeah this was one of the funniest games in the jam lmaoo

This seems fun but I think it needs a rule or strategy explanation because I really have no idea what I'm doing :p

I really like the concept! It's really quirky and works well. I also really like the art and music you chose.

However I will say that it lacked a bit of feedback. When I was swiping at the chickens, there was no knockback and it was hard for me to know when I was safe and when I would get hit.

Overall a cute, simple game but really well executed in the presentation. Just make sure the player has a clear idea of what their limits are through feedback like screenshakes or things like that!

Really fun, I enjoyed it a lot! I liked how frenetic it got, I think it could even do with a more stringent time limit.

I think that what would improve the game a lot is tweaking the crossbow to shoot more in line with the player's crosshair and to have clearer boundaries for the bomb explosion, as well as making it more obvious when the player is hurt.

That said it's a really fun prototype. Good job :)

I love this game. I LOVE this game. I am a sucker for surreal and for text based games, and your writing is stellar. The music is such a perfect choice for the atmosphere, and the presentation is so clean and beautiful.

It honestly reminds me a lot of the stanley parable, as weird as that sounds. Something about the detached, surreal nature but still grounded in consequence.

Definitely going to be revisiting this one! You should extend this out even more!

This is a pretty fun platformer. I like how you make the powerups part of the platforming challenge instead of just making them easier.

I wish that the chicken was at least a sprite of butter chicken instead of just a chicken leg!

Keep making games, you have a natural feel for what makes a good mechanic :)

Not gonna lie I laughed out loud three separate times in my 3 minute playtime

was not ready for that gordon sprite

This is so cute! Good job, I love the art style and the overall vibe of it.

Unfortunately I didn't get to play a lot because I couldn't find the stick, but I found the nails.

I would say make it more obvious for the player to find the way to progress.

Overall really good work in such a short time!

Love the alternative drawback of the heal ability! Instead of using a cooldown, you get a different debuff. Very good concept, and it follows the theme.

I definitely would have spent a little more effort on trying to adhere to the butter chicken requirement though! Overall really good job!

I love your guys art and animations and music and everything! But the others are right, the main game mechanic is just too frustrating. I couldn't get past level two.
