Cute art, I especially loved the penguin and the cave backdrop.

I think it didn't engage a lot with the loop theme and could have profited from a more focused identity, so less would have been more. However, I find it impressive how many mechanics you have managed to implement. Good job!

This is great! Just the sheer amount of puzzles you have managed to create for the jam is commendable in itself.  Loved the art direction too!

As the commenter before me said, some visual clutter can happen. My feedback, you can choose to consider for later:

  • The boxes immediately move from the start, which was a bit annoying for me (although I understand some levels' mechanics are built on changing the setup mid-flow). Maybe some kind of start action would be nice, so I could survey my resources first.
  • The other intentional but confusing element for me was that the streams can cross.
  • I ran into a bug on one of the portal levels, where after I sent the wrong box type once, the counter hasn't accepted any more of the right ones either.

Overall, I think you could turn this into a full game anytime, and I'd expect it to perform well among puzzle-lovers. You have nailed most aspects already :)

As you have started a thread already, I'll add mine here too:

- On the very first level, the copy needs an additional space ("canonly")
- The pushable boxes sometimes get stuck. I had to push them from the other direction first to be able to push them in the intended direction after
- On the 5th level (where the text says "I didn't mean to leave these here"), after you pick up the "down" action, I couldn't actually fall down and got stuck, had to fully restart. After that, I've realized I should have picked up the other direction first, as that was the intended route. Not a bug per se, a restart level button would have solved the problem here.

Haven't had this much trouble with my shoelaces since I was 3. I couldn't tie it back then either.

A very unique take, well-executed. Congratulations!

Thanks! Absolutely agree, sadly, I didn't have time to find the fitting music.

Loved it, it's moody, mysterious, and the narration fit the theme very well.

I have to say I got a bit frustrated with one of the puzzles, but I couldn't stop and just HAD TO figure it out.

Obviously not relevant for the jam's scope, but if you continue with this later, a transcript would be great for the unlocked audios.

Amazing work, congrats!

Hey! I've just seen your game on Mark's stream. We went with the same interpretation for the theme! I'm glad to see another game exploring the same idea in a different way, I haven't seen it from others so far.

Cheers!

Yours looks great too, I'll give it a try before the voting is over!

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Now I understand economics.

Absolutely love the artwork.

Cool, simple idea, but quite fun execution!

The controls were a bit unintuitive to me, but I got the hang of it. Maybe a bit more dynamic gameplay and snappier controls would do the game good. Once I started to go in one direction, I had to commit to it, because changing direction is slow. Maybe it could have been enough to only allow the player to control the radius.
Fun idea nevertheless!

Refreshing interpretation with a moody atmosphere. Got a bit of a dramatic turn where I won the contest, but died of starvation.

Liked the art and the simplistic gameplay. I think incorporating some punishment/advantage system for the life stages would have been nice, or trying to make sure you can only fight the genie as a strong adult, not a child/elder.

Thank you! It was more hectic originally, but my playtesters got very confused. I was considering adding an "endless" stage, but I just didn't have the energy anymore :)
Really glad you enjoyed the characters!

Hey! Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! That's very fair! Based on my two playtester sessions, this is what I settled on for the jam, because I decided I'd rather leave a bit more empty space than rush the player and make them miss something important. If I ever build something similar again or polish up this idea, I'll definitely go with a more sophisticated event scheduling.

This is amazing, already feels like a full game! The scenes work very well as little narrative elements.
For me, maybe the isometric view or the character facing me at the start made it hard to imagine the route sometimes, but very enjoyable regardless.
This is my favourite game so far in the jam, hope it will get some recognition!

I liked the character arts. Was a bit confused about the enemy symbols or about why to loop a dungeon again.

The combat is well done!

Simple, but the atmosphere is very polished. Moving and drawing at the same time feels a bit buggy, but I love the ammo mechanic.

I'll never say no to a game with a cat.
Would have preferred a minigame for fishing over the click spamming.

Looks quite cool, a bit buggy tho, I kept getting stuck and ended up falling under the map :D

Didn't expect a roguelike twist on a farming sim, great idea! The art is simplistic and cute, love it!

That is so kind, thank you!

Thank you! I wish I had more time to find the perfect music, I felt like a bad choice might mess up the mood :D I'll definitely get my sound library sorted before my next jam.

Thank you! I had to figure out how to make sure it doesn't actually feel like an office job.

Not gonna lie, I did take some inspiration from real life.

Cute idea, crochet needs more video game coverage!
I couldn't use right click to fix a mistake, but maybe it was just a browser bug.

The narrative, art, and music are all equally crazy, a very cohesive experience. The concept is simple, but executed really well. I've played some "draw a loop to do something" games, and this is definitely on the smoother side.

Looks adorable, I've had a bit of trouble figuring out how things work. Amazing work on the atmosphere!

Cool little game, never pressed H to start before :D

The game opened with the top cut off for me, but the main gameplay area was visible. The lasso behaves in an unexpected way, quite funny!

Very cosy, cute art!

The cards are looking amazing, appreciate the drawing timelapse!

I don't think it's there yet, but there is definitely something here! I wanted to be able to access the player feedback and live balance data when I had to make changes. With a more interactive feedback loop and decision points this could be really great!

The gameplay is easy to understand (and maybe hard to master), I've found the wire to be quite short and got stuck often.

Very stylish, amazing how chaotic things can get with just 4 action slots.

If you ever decide to invest more into this, I'd personally prefer a bit less zoomed-in camera.

The circular arrangement is a creative twist on the genre, nice job!

The puzzles are quite creative! Not too hard, but you have to stop to think for a bit.

My only wish would be a reset level option, sometimes I had to die to make sure my past clone won't mess up my next try.

It's very atmospheric, great sound design!

Reminds me of old browser games, intuitive and fun!
