at the end of the day, its their game and its their story we are playing. im sure the creator uses the polls as advice on certain things that people would like to see, and the feedback they receive can provide them with creative inspiration to better develop their story. you may not like certain events in the story, but then its your choice whether or not you choose to keep playing the game.
