Not sure why "Your Mom" wasn't the correct answer in the interrogation. Might want to check out that bug. Loved the stick art and the cop had a great stache. Great work!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to post on here to say how the wife and I are incredibly blown away by this community! The amount of positivity, support, and pure creativity we are seeing is so infectious.
This was officially our first game jam. We are both 33 with two toddlers running around, so our time is pretty limited these days. I started learning how to code back in November, just a little bit every day. The wife and I have always tossed around making a game so when this game jam showed up on my feed, I looked at our schedules and the stars aligned where we would have some extra free time, so we went for it.
I am so glad we did. There is something so incredibly unique and rewarding to do something so creative and fun, and then have others also get to play and react to what you have made. I know it's dramatic but it feels completely surreal.
I really want to take this energy and creativity and continue to push to make more games. Thank you to Juniper and the organizers! Stay inspired everyone and keep pushing! I can't wait to play more of y'alls games! I would also love to hear other people's stories and journeys.
Serious as a Heart Attack (I'll rate any that I can get to if you drop a link 😉)
Y'all seriously need a round of applause on this one. The art, audio, dialogue, and theme are all fantastic. If you are going to develop this further/had more time, I think an inventory system and being able to customize the order of the items on the wheel before each battle could be neat. I experienced a couple bugs. During the cotton candy fight all the icons for the enemy got super small. On the final fight (I believe) it froze after I beat the enemy. Really top notch entry!!
Totally agree on the number of enemies. We had plans for plaque on the walls, bacteria that might chase you, and power-ups, but just ran out of time 😔. Never thought about them getting past you. I wonder if I could decrease the wave amounts and have it take away points if they do get past. Was it more fun with more enemies or trying to keep them from getting past? Thank you so much for playing and the great feedback!
