I like the concept of the game and the implementation of the limitations being that they grow when you walk away, holding two items (the sprays), and something is following you (the laser). The gameplay made me smash my "B" button at a speed that has only come out when playing Mario Party minigames! Interesting game and I really like the cover art!

Beautiful art and the gameplay is so intuitive! I never felt confused on trying to find any of the ingredients and it was fun putting the pies together. The story is short and sweet and captures the theme of the game jam really well! I really like the continuity between your game jam stories as well. Wonderfully polished and fun game!

I think this might be my favorite game this jam so far! The upgrades felt extremely rewarding, the art was fantastic, and the gameplay is just so satisfying! The music accompanies the gameplay so well too! I honestly wish I could've played this for longer. It goes without saying but fantastic work!

I like that the axe swing strength scaled with how much excess flame power you had! I wish this applied to the skeleton's movement speed as well so that I could go even harder at trying to complete my goal of 100% deforestation. It would also have been nice to allow the flame to grow to comical levels for fun! It was pretty chill just chopping away at trees.

Really charming art and characters! The music was pretty relaxing for the gameplay and looking for the lost objects gave a bit of a goal while blowing the leaves. The ending felt a bit anti-climactic but its understandable seeing as you stated you ran into issues with the PICO-8 token limit. Overall, very cute and chill game! Great work!

I really enjoyed the ending! The little shooter mini-game in the computer was really fun too and I liked the overall shader you used to give that static appearance. The pumpkin head following you in the final hallway was pretty unsettling too which was nice!

The dialogue is a lot of fun and I kind of wanted the roaches to win at some point! Did you ever manage to implement the "Kid" tower? The game sent me back to the dialogue and level of Day 1 of the game when I got to the point of unlocking the "Kid" tower. Very creative way to animate the vacuum cleaner as well. I hope the roaches get their bread and circuses someday!

The dialogue is quite fun! However, I feel as though I skipped a huge portion of the game and reached the final room immediately? I suppose that the Scarecrow, cat, and I are now roommates for eternity due to the game getting stuck after rescuing the cat.

Nice art, music, and theming! The puzzling was pretty fun and I found the increasing and changing requirements to be pretty interesting to keep in mind. The relaxing music really helped when I was stuck on any level.  I appreciate that the requirements were pretty direct and not too convoluted and would light up green if it was fulfilled too!

I actually gasped when I finished the game. Extremely cute art style overall and it was really exciting trying to find out what the design of each cat was going to be! Unfortunately, Cidney Sweeney's portrait in the Journal was bugged to match with the Pumpkin cat's. It also would've been nice to have each ingredient be labeled without having to run up to it. Regardless, rather enjoyable game and fantastic art!

I think the issue may be that when the player is moving between scenes, the obj_donaldsahur object gets deleted. If the player is spamming their LMB during the frame between the obj_donaldsahur being deleted and recreated again, it crashes the game as it tries to update the X/Y position for an object that doesn't exist.

Overall, pretty fun with a pretty slow start which ramps up into cleaving trees in a single hit. The sprite for the player character is pretty cute albeit a bit large, maybe there could be a dot to indicate where the player hitbox is (sort of the type that is often implemented in bullet hells). Other than that, a pretty chill and fun experience!

The sprites for each of the art pieces were super charming and the implementation of the jam's themes was really well done! The gameplay itself was a lot of fun and it was pretty engaging to try and gather up all the museum residents before the time ran out. Fantastic work!

Pretty satisfying to repair the weapons! It sort of reminds me of that old flash game, Jacksmith. While I'm unsure how it has to do with the jam's theme and limitations, it was still pretty enjoyable to fix up some weapons.

Nice choice of art and music which made for an overall comfy vibe. It was a bit confusing both input-wise (I kept trying to scroll to move through my inventory) and it was hard to know what was in my inventory at any given time. Good work on the game though!

Fantastic level design and the bells are such an interesting implementation of the jam's limitations. The puzzle platforming is clever and a lot of the jumps are surprisingly tight! I made it past the big bell mural and got past the 2nd of the bell activation puzzles (the ones that look sort of like a slot machine) but was unfortunately stumped at the location that looked vaguely like a waterfall on the left side of the map. Still, it was a lot of fun using both the bell platforms and leaf platforms to manipulate the breeze's path.

The map that I ended up stumped by!

I like the implementation of the lights to shut off one side of the screen at a time and the sprite for the scarecrow is quite cute!

At first I thought it was a click and drag game, sort of like a golfing game but it turns out its just click to go where you want. After that the levels were much easier and I got to level 4! Unfortunately, it seems that there was a bug in the code which didn't let me get farther.  Interesting art and goofy premise.

Really cute 3D models and interesting implementations of the jam's limitations! I feel like the ghosts were rather underwhelming. Being able to throw objects around was pretty fun too and I'm happy to call myself graveyard cafe owner!

Really fun with an adorable art style and aesthetic! The lobby music choice was rather charming and I appreciate that it was changeable. The choice of a multiplayer game is rather ambitious but my sibling was willing to hop on and join me for several sessions. Due to the nature of the peer-to-peer connection, the game tends to highly favor the host, especially during the final boss fight. However, it was still a lot of fun and we managed to put a couple rounds in (with the host winning every time).

Using the angler fish and chandelier next to each other created an impossible obstacle that would completely wall off the bellboy.

Really fun game with a great soundtrack to accompany it. I made it to a little over 4 minutes and the difficulty was pretty challenging but fun! I wish there was some way for me to get stronger in order to match the onslaught of scarecrows. Instead, I would desperately try to consume the pumpkins as soon as they spawned in order to keep my health up. Exciting game regardless!

While I couldn't beat the game due to not understanding what the end goal was, I did manage to amass a large collection of pumpkins! The art and music is pretty cute too! While I didn't really understand what the bars in the corner were for, it seems that the ghosts stop bothering me at some point and left me to my own devices.  The movement felt rather slidey but it was pretty fun while frantically trying to place as much decor as possible.

I came, I saw, I pumpkin'ed.

Visually, this game is intriguing to look at and I loved the little animals that showed up during the walk! I like the sense of scale as I do feel like a little kid as I walked through the streets (Though maybe too small considering the protagonist's age). The barking dog event did manage to jumpscare me.

On the first playthrough of the game, I unfortunately became a missing child case as I passed through a fence and fell through the bounds of time and space. However, I did manage to pick up the order on the second playthrough and make it home safely!

A view of falling through time and space. On that day, a mother was left waiting for her child to arrive home.

I love the hand-drawn art and the walking animation for the hedgehog mom is so cute! Unfortunately, it seems that I won't be able to combat the AI overlords as I was never able to make it out of the beginning room.

Cute cat and I like the core concept! I like how if you take too long, the cat takes the clothing off itself. The gameplay itself was primarily trying to plan out the route of dressing the cat up as I would have to rummage through the box ahead of time as many of the required accessories were buried under 2 or 3 others. This made it somewhat confusing to find certain clothing such as the monocle or collar. Nonetheless, cute game and great work on implementing the limitation!

Please do not attempt to eat the Patantan. Ingestion of Patantan parts may result in symptoms such as:

  • Sprouting leaves across the body

  • Auditory hallucinations [hearing Patantan when there aren't any]

  • An irresistible urge to eat large amounts of sweets and sugar

  • A desire to crawl into tight spaces and hide for prolonged periods of time
  • Reduced ability to properly speak and formulate words, resulting in Patantan-like speech

From  Experience, GranGrans

No Patantan were Harmed in/During the Making of this Game (Probably).

Thanks for the gif! I think I was running around too quickly to talk to them properly. Although I'm starting to realize it may be a problem on my end as the "[E]" prompt displays differently compared to your gif.

Cute art, it reminds me a bit of older flash games like Neopets! The soundtrack's bounciness is quite fun too and really sells the cafe vibe. The multiple menus is rather cumbersome and makes it much more difficult than I expected to make a drink.  The game over CG is quite nice so it doesn't feel too bad to lose either.

Really cute art to represent each chore! Some of the chore's collision boxes are a bit unintuitive such as the laundry requiring the player to click the drying rack and not the laundry basket and the toothbrush+toothpaste requiring the player to click between the toothbrush+toothpaste and not the toothbrush itself.

The art was also so nice and well blended into the environment that occasionally I would have to try to click everything in each room in order to figure out what exactly was the chore I was missing (the microwave and the "ZZZ" sleep effects were particularly difficult for me to realize they were chores).

Overall, it was a pretty fun beating up the little chore guys and great job at implementing the limitation of "Always carrying two objects!"

Cute opening intro and art! The isometric style is cute as well! Unfortunately, I was unable to make the initial Strength Potion as the cauldron was not interactable.  My first client was aghast to watch me dump the ingredients into the waste bin as I tried to fashion a potion there instead. I really like the concept and hope it gets more fleshed out!

I see now! The prompt to begin dialogue only seems to run for a single frame so I just have to spam "E" as I run circles around them.

I'll give it another shot!

Really interesting puzzles and clever implementation of the jam's themes and limitations! The rooms being connected to the answers to the puzzles or letters of the word were also quite charming (My favorites being the "T" room and the "C_T" puzzle answer.) I managed to get as far as 4 letters discovered until I got stuck in the Backrooms-esque area. Despite my attempts to respawn or move, nothing would work. The rooms spaciousness really sells the sense of scale but it also made going through rooms and backtracking again a bit of a hassle. Lovely game and great work!

The room that would ultimately end Zoe's adventure.

The art for Squibbley is cute and I liked finding and seeing the other ghost pals! The trinket art is quite adorable too! Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to begin the dialogue with the other ghosts despite all kinds of inputs so the game felt surprisingly lonely despite all the other ghosts. I may have to revisit this game again if there are inputs listed anywhere!

Fun game overall with cute card arts! The music was relaxing and suited the gameplay pretty well. I found the legibility on the cards to be rather difficult due to the font size and color. Unfortunately, I got stuck on this particular puzzle! What was the intended solution for it as I'm fairly certain that I fulfilled all of the requested criteria.

Ohhh that makes sense! It did seem the rather spooky type who would do that sort of thing!

The art is really charming, I love the gator guy in particular!

It was really enjoyable frantically managing my pumpkin plots while defending them at the same time! I discovered that goodwill and kindness was the key to infinite wealth as allowing the headless horsemen to steal my pots made the price of the pots flow into the negatives. By flooding the market with pots, I was being paid to accept pots! I think that bombs may need a bit of a buff as I blew all of my wealth buying 40 bombs only to die impoverished as the bombs were not able to save me in time due to their long arming time.

I can see where the inspiration from Maze Runner came from! I really like how the entrances to the maze would change day to day which really captured the theme of the Jam! I felt a unique sense of despair and hopelessness when I inserted the blue stone into the arch and did another run of the maze only to come back and find that my beautiful blue rock was stolen by some despicable villain. Perhaps that was the point of the game, that the maze was rigged against me.
