I really like it!  Especially cool how all the games had a major influence.  Has a lot of 8bit game vibes (the platform puzzle especially)  I think missed the where L2 is (and maybe page numbers would be awesome, oh and also maybe switch the order of "background" and "hooks", since I did not quite get what everything is reading the hooks. But awesome overall! (cool crab aliens might be everyones cup of tea but I think they're great!)

To bad that the inspiration paragraph lacks clarity,  since almost everything is inspired by the three games (maybe I should add another paragraph here).

As for the story it is kind of intentional to leave it rather sparse (I for myself like less text), but it is a good point to either add some more context and or history! Thank you!

Love the idea! Might be a little "to much" for "everyday use"? Could be especially awesome with a small adventure around a music contest maybe? (or a musical boss battle?) Also I love the cover!!!
