Awesome, thanks, i'm in!

haha i can imagine. Well I'll keep an eye out for that post mortem in the server :D

Postmotem would be cool to see. haha yeah, didn't get tired of the big face, he's got a lot of character. Did you do the art?

Any chance you've got a link to the discord, the one on the main jam page doesn't seem to be working anymore for me

Really cool idea! Took me so long to figure some of them out xD

What was the inspiration?

Its giving Chants of sennaar, Tunic, Heavens Vault

Great work!

haha thanks, appreciate the kind words <3

Really love the unique interpretation on the theme! Pixel art and animation were soo good, great work :D

Haha yeah thats totally fair enough, i think i went too conceptual with it tbh, even if i had time to add the content i wanted (+ some tutorial and feedback and UX stuff etc) it still would have been too esoteric. I appreciate you seeing the idea despite the gameplay shortcomings :D

Very fair. All good points, i would love to have added that and more if i could (was busy Saturday and Sunday unfortunately so only had Thursday and Friday to put it together). Thanks for giving it a go anyway :)

Really crazily impressive stuff, amosphere's off the charts, hats off to you 🫡

Artstyle was perfect, 90's cartoon/CD-rom/villan of the week premise is so genius

Really cool concept, great pixel art. slomo breaking out of chains at the start is pretty rad. Enjoyed trying out all the weapons :D

haha great work, wish it was longer!

really cool idea, i like the art direction a lot. the rope mechanic fealt a bit random to use, i ended up spamming it, could be worth doing something like a direction arrow, or a faded line showing the first few bounces or something to make it a little more clear where its going to go? Great work though, super fun :D

Haha i know that feeling all too well

Great game! loved the animation of the lil guy :D

Haha really fun, tough at the start but fun, great work, kinda like LUFTRAUSERS but with loops!

Great intepretation on the theme, impressive work getting all those games in there in 4 days. Kinda rough when you get sent back to the dirt by that big fish lol. Surreal is a great descriptor haha. Awesome job :D

Nice work, cool idea for a TD game, i like the interpretation of the theme :D

Really awesome interpretation of the theme, making a visual code editor thats thats clean and useable in 4 days is crazy, great work. So much potential here, shame about the bug that meant you had to give infinite upgrade points. would be cool to see a few more options for actions to take, so players can customise playstyle and try out different stategies. e.g. buying a strong attack in the upgrade tree that has a cooldown or energy or requires moving to and gathering a resource in game or something, then you could set it up in the code to do  something like {if its been 30 seconds, or if resource is high enough and enemy count is above 10, fire big damage attack}. Just spitballing haha, im sure there's a million ideas you've got for things to add, i know there was in my entry but ran out of time. Hope you continue to work on it afterwards :D

Loved it, top marks. short and sweet, very funny, great writing, didnt see that twist coming. Art and sound design were great. I was sort of confused by the Q mechanic but when i got the hang of it i could see loads of possibilities for expanding on the idea. Incredible stuff for a first game, hope you continue to make more stuff :D

Great work! Animation and art direction was awesome! I kinda suck at platformers, but the puzzel design was good :)

Haha thanks Profour! yeah was sort of hoping to have it so that you almost couldnt get past Q2 unless you get lucky in Q1, to try and make some kinda point lol. sucks i was busy this weekend, but what can ya do. Glad you liked the concept, thanks for checking it out. I went and gave your game a go, holy crap that was good haha, incredible job, given you a follow, cant wait to see what you do next! (hopefully carry on fleshing out trainsaw 🤞)

Thanks Iyawk, your game was great, just came from playing it, great work :D

Absolutly brilliant, deserves all the praise, crazy you were able to make this in a few days. Hope you carry on working on it afterwards, loads of potential here :D

Love the artstyle, paired with the music, super cozy vibes. kinda love the peddling animation too haha, and the death scream is great. Getting all that customisation in too. Reckon you'll carry on working on it after? Impressive stuff solo in just a few days :D

Appreciate you 🙏

Haha thanks, appreciate it. Unfortunately didn't have enough free time this weekend to get it to a playable state, but worked on it enough that I figured I should upload anyway. Thanks for give it a shot though 😁

Aha thanks Zarb28!

Thanks for the feedback Blocker! yeah 100% agree, i really wanted to do more with the level design but ran out of time, i intend to carry on work on it though so will definitely look at fixing this :D

Thanks fusinabowl, yeah we didn't get to playtest as much as we'd've liked so that area is way more difficult than anticipated. Appreciate you playing and giving feedback :D

1. unfortunately ran out of time and didn't get to implement an application.exit button on the setting screen, will have to exit with alt+f4, sorry!

2. again, ran out of time and had to prioritise other things above Audio. a shame but if people like the game we're thinking of carrying on working on it and i'd love to get audio into the next build :D

3. Thanks so much, that means a lot! When i get home from work ill be sure to give cruelette a go!

Hey Alcator, unfortunately this was a bug we didn't have time to fix :( the button should work, but the UI doesn't update to reflect the change, when you click it though it will invert the Y axis of the mouse

(1 edit)

Thanks Zoubgui! Will be sure to check it out when i get home from work!

We did find the sens to be an issue too tbf, last minute added a sensitivity slider in the settings if you hit escape which should help :)
