Actually, the answer was to zoom IN, the viewport was cutting off the game screen
For the record, my monitor is 1920x1200. Maybe the problem is my aspect ratio? Regardless, I zoomed out the screen and it works now.
For some reason, the screen is too big for my monitor and there seems to be no way to shrink it down
Resolution's broken.
I think whatever the game's supposed to be doing to spawn coins isn't working. Only one coin spawned the whole game, and it was on the edge of the screen.
Well, I finished it (i think; there didn't seem to be anything to do after reaching the retirement screen). Short, but well paced.

Wish I could play, but apparently my 1900x1200 monitor is too small for this.
It took me 3 runs to notice that killing enemies increases the turn timer. Very good; never beat it though
