I didn’t have as much time for this game jam as I was splitting time between this game and playing C&C Renegade, and some of its mods, for its 20th anniversary event.

I am glad you found the game enjoyable.

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Nice comparison of input methods; Maybe I should dust off the Android PR for gosu and see if I can finish it and then test out this game on it.

RSI? Oof, I should’ve invested more time in getting picking working better.

Glad you like it. The background sky and ground is entirely rendered by gosu using draw_quad and passing different colors for the top and bottom halves to get a nice gradient.

Thanks! I did base it heavy off of a newgrounds game, Defend Your Castle, that I enjoyed back in the day of flash games.

Throwing was the most important, to me, feature for this game; Glad the effort payed off.

I did rush, a lot, at the end to get the game submitted several hours early to be able to join in on C&C Renegade’s 20th anniversary event.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Really nice tower defense game!

I managed to survival until wave 21 on my initial play through.

I also liked the font toggle.

Really nicely presented game.

I really fun and creative game with hard but beatable boss at the end. I need more penguin games with swordfish and ice cubes for weapons! 😉

I almost gave up trying to play it since I got confused why I couldn’t select a castle to play. Eventually figured out the that the starting castle isn’t playable since that’s where the hero starts and after defeating the first playable castle the red background made it apparent. I think it would have been better if all the unplayed castles had the same background to make it more obvious which castles you can play and only let the flag visit playable castles. Also, could’ve hidden the mouse.

Cool concept, nice music, although controlling the player is a bit difficult.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun to make.
