Hi,

I played the most recent build and apart from an issue with the burger mini-game where it either wouldn’t end or that the bun which is supposed to go on top is placed at the start, making it so you can’t complete any orders, I didn’t encounter any further problems. For anyone wondering my work around for this was to just start a new playthrough since that resets any non persistent variables.

Disregarding that, I really dig the art style and the animated sprites (that must have been so much effort). Not to mention the cg’s changing in response to your cursor movement is insane and really impressive. The writing was able to hold my attention well and I can definitely see the potential for a great story. I’ll be looking forward to future updates!

Hi,

Congrats on publishing the demo. I like the story set up so far and I am really impressed with the feel and fluidity of gui and ui. You did a great job on that!

I’m reaching out to let you know there’s a bug with the guitar mini game that causes it not to function and possibly brick the rest of the game. The error reported by renpy says that it’s missing the rbs_v1_melody.beatmap.txt file in the audio directory.

If you ignore the error and continue on, the messaging section in the scene after doesn’t work, effectively stone walling you from accessing the rest of the game (unless I’m missing something ofc). I don’t know if these events are related but they might be as Renpy hates it when you ignore errors. Of course if this is just a user error and I fucked up somehow feel free to let me know.

Looking forward to playing the rest of the demo when I can access it!

Merci pour le message! I'm not a native French speaker myself, so I'm glad the sentences were good and that there were a healthy amount of them. I'll be sure to keep it up for following chapters.

Hi,

The music for this project is already self-made, but thanks for the offer.

No problem. Looking forward to see if I was right. Tysm for playing and helping out!

Hi,

Thanks for reporting the bug!

I think I may know what the issue is. Did you by chance load an old save from a previous version? If so that may be the reason for the issues you are encountering. Not to go on to long of a dev rant but It's checking for a variable which only exist in the new build when you start a new game, so if you load an old one that variable doesn't exist and so by extension cant be checked.

If I'm wrong mind showing me the top half of the bug screen? That way I can do further research.

Thanks for the compliment and sorry for the inconvenience. I hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing! It would be worth every hour twice over so long it makes people happy.

Although the writing is a bit fast paced and seems like it wants to get to the point to quickly, I enjoyed the game. The simplistic art style is really cute and I dig it a lot. Hope you continue development.

Hi, it was the pc build. I forgot to mention that my bad.

Fun story set up where you can gaslight Ian or be truthful the wholetime. The sprites look good and the cg's are very well done. I did find a bug with the sprite zoom out for Ian on the line "So you'll apologise because you regret what you did but won't tell me what you're apologising for?" What happens is that instead of zooming out the sprite instead takes up the whole screen. After some testing I found that this happens after skipping dialogue then scrolling back a bit. Maybe a problem with the zoom statement in renpy? Anyways, fun demo looking forward to future updates.
