Thank you! The player physics was heavily inspired by the physics in a microspeedrunning game I'm working on (hopefully releasing sometime within the next 2 years or so).

My PC is worse than that, so I'll play around with the web build a bit. Thank you so much for your bug report!

I'm getting some weird zoom issues which put the edges of the game offscreen. The "Restart" button on the upgrades screen seems to have no effect, leaving me completely soft-locked 10 seconds into the game.

Thank you! ...Every time? I didn't realize it was that bad.... If I may ask a few questions, which build did you play (Windows, Linux, Web)? What's your system's RAM and clock speed?

Thank you! I'm fairly new to Godot, so I still haven't figured out the audio system. After some post-jam miscellaneous bug-fixes, I'll probably abandon this project, but I'll be sure to include music and SFX in my next game (if I have the time).

This is far better than my first game. I found that I never needed to touch the speed, and only focused on the temperature and oxygen. Also, 15 minutes felt a little too long.

Love the hourglass flip mechanic. Excellent game, the kind I would expect from the dev of Little Slime Blows Up. I found a way to get through the final level with only one flip.

Amazing game! I love how you can pick up down and jump off of it if you're quick enough. Love the artstyle too.

Thank you! I see you made another duck-themed game. Great minds think alike!

Thank you! I really wanted bunnyhopping and air-strafing to be a key mechanic, so I did my best to make them as fun and fast as possible without completely breaking everything.

Great game. Amazing title! It's almost like I used the exact same one myself!

I'm glad you managed to find them all. Level 5 is possible with 5 seconds to spare, assuming you have near-perfect air-strafing.

Thank you! Did you figure out the air-strafing implementation too? With good movement in the fourth and fifth levels, it's possible to reach speeds upwards of 170.

Thank you! I still haven't figured out how to get audio working in Godot, so I just left it out.

The last level (level 5) is in fact possible... with 5 seconds to spare, assuming near-perfect movement. That is an intended feature.

(1 edit)

Thanks! The last level is supposed to be as difficult as possible, while still being possible with excellent movement and routing. How close did you get to beating level 5?

Did you write the maze generator yourself?

I'm pretty bad at this kind of game, but it's still very fun. I think this has a good chance at winning.

Thank you for the bug report. I can't seem to replicate it, though. Would it be possible to tell me what build you used, as well as steps to replicate it (if you can find a way to consistently pull it off)?

Thanks, although I didn't make it. I just downloaded the model from https://poly.pizza/m/gt2eYOyOvU.

I found your comment on my game amusing. Anyway, great mechanics, although I can't get past the fourth wave. Keep making games!

Love the art style and the maze-switching mechanic. It took me nearly 4 minutes to beat the green maze.

Fun little game! Love the different effects the doors give.
