Hell yeah! We worked hard on it :)

I’m glad you feel like it’s well-polished! I actually felt the opposite at first, but a lot of people seem to have the same sentiment, so I’m proud our work paid off!

YAAAAAAAAY I DID THAT YAAAAAAAY

Thank you thank you thank you!!

“The art isn’t very good” *arrow through the chest* My bad… I’ll lock in harder next time…

Thank you for playing!

Any 2D platformer with mouse controls is bound to be a little difficult to handle. We tried to minimize it, but with more time, we probably could have made it more manageable. Thank you for the feedback!

(Thank you for your compliments on the music!!)

Those platforms are ridiculously hard without the grappling hook, lol. Thank you for playing!

I’m glad you enjoyed!

The shotgun definitely requires some getting used to… But thank you for playing!

(The compliments on the soundtrack just keep piling up. Should we put it on Spotify or something…?)

Shotgun has kickback — once you know it’s there, you can use it to move around faster! Also, yeah, the enemies are pretty tough. Thank you for playing anyway!

(I wish we’d found a better button for the dash key…)

All the comments on the soundtrack mean a lot to me and Cal :) Thank you for playing!

(Level 1 block jumping section is definitely on the harder side. Maybe come back to it with the grappling hook after you’ve finished the game and unlocked all your abilities?)

Thank you for playing! We had a lot of fun creating it. Also, all of levels 1 and 2 are possible with just the dash and shotgun, because of the aforementioned kickback quirk — shoot really early in your jump and you’ll go flying! The secret rooms are unlockable if you complete the game and go back to the beginning, where you’ll now have all your abilities unlocked from the start! (And a secret extra one…)

(As for the softlock, that’s right around where you unlock the grappling hook, I believe. Keep falling through the semisolid platforms to grab the treasure, then a new path will open up for you!)

I figured it out after a couple runs — this game is fun! I like the way you have to chart everything out ahead of time if you want to pay it all off. The node-like structure felt very soothing on my mathematician brain.

I really enjoyed my time with this game. I do think the difficulty is unbalanced significantly across the different in-game factions (green is very easy, red is pretty difficult, blue is nightmarish), but I had fun learning how to maneuver my ship to stay out of the enemies' way. The soundtrack is also very well-done (and as a musician myself, I appreciate the three different tracks made for each faction!), and the art and animations are phenomenal! Wonderful work! :)

You’re not alone! We just couldn’t figure out a better key for it…

I think this was a good idea for a game based on the description, but actually playing it... Walking up and to the left is maybe not so much a 'game' as it is a 'thing you can do in the virtual world'. The music's fire though. Lazarus did a number on the guitar for this one.

Very refined gameplay. Feels maybe a little too heavily inspired by Balatro, what with the font, the scoring system, the background, etc. Very well-made and executed, though, and I had a blast forgetting which direction my cozy piece went and losing the whole run to that blunder. :)

Had a similar fullscreen failure to other comments, but I persisted through it because the game was fun! I definitely would have played longer if the mouse didn't keep flying off the screen. Good gameplay loop!!
