This is really impressive. The art and music are great. The gameplay even better. The loud cannons did get a little distracting at times, but that was my only gripe xD
Very nice atmosphere and nice use of the theme. Some cool ambient audio would really elevate this, and at times I was finding myself trying to scroll to adjust the camera xD But great job!
Really knocked it out of the park with this one. A simple concept executed brilliantly, with just the right amount of quip. The art style is cohesive, welcoming, and vibrant. Well done!
Wow I like this a lot. The XP and skill mechanic is really fun. Only thing I would say (and maybe this was intentional like camouflage or something), but the enemies' design didn't really stand out to me. I initially didn't even know that there were any, and that I needed to kill them at the beginning. But I really liked the huge wave of guardians at the last shell. Pretty intimidating xD. Overall, great stuff!
