Or maybe I misread your question -- does Content have files inside of it, and you're not sure how to run it? I believe that if you put the whole folder into your Applications folder it will become runnable. Not 100% sure though. There are usually other Mac admin-type things that need to happen to run unsigned builds. Maybe this link will help https://forum.unity.com/threads/issue-opening-unity-mac-applications-on-mac-big-...
I haven't run into issues in the past with distributing only the Contents folder of mac builds, (at least, it works when downloaded via Itch App) but maybe it would help in the future if we make sure Contents is inside of a "Game.app" folder first. (That may also fix it on your end; moving it into a harddive.app folder, or something)
Hi GodEye, the version 4.0 mac zip should have data in the Content folder when you download it. Sometimes computers or antivirus software will delete the contents of unknown downloaded zips. This is just a student project, so it's not properly signed for Mac and it sounds like your computer doesn't trust it.
Unfortunately the only way (that I am aware of) to run it on Mac without doing the workarounds we link to in the Install Instructions is to use the Itch Desktop App, which is able to "vouch" for our game to your antivirus/OS.
