Thanks crayon, I’ve been experimenting with some of my own photographs as the basis for locations in an Amiga-style adventure game, so I’m going to try working to those same 320×200 / 32-colour limitations and see how I get on. Also haven't tried DAAD before so will give it a shot.

Thanks again for taking the time to explain it — very much appreciated!

Thanks crayon that's really helpful. Can I ask what resolution and colour palette/number of colours you normally work to for the Amiga versions? For example, are you specifically restricting the finished scenes to 32 colours, and do you use a fixed palette across the game or create a palette for each scene?

Cheers Alan, Thanks.

I'm currently experimenting with creating location graphics for an Amiga-style graphic adventure of my own, using photographs I've taken as the starting point. I'd love to know a little more about the process Jarda used to convert the AI generated artwork for the Amiga — particularly the resolution, number of colours, software used and whether the final images were manually pixel-edited or dithered.

Is there any chance you could point me towards Jarda, or share a little about his workflow?

Hi Alan, thoroughly enjoyed playing through The Secret of Barron Wood on the Amiga. We'll be posting a review in the next issue of ZZAP! Amiga - Issue #30 - due out early October.

Out of interest, can I ask how you created the graphics?

Fantastic Graphic Adventure, felt like I was in Fighting Fantasy storyline. Just finished Part 1. Looking forward to Part 2! Our full review will be in the next issue of ZZAP! Amiga - Issue #30 due out early October.

Hey Acneproduction, you are very, very welcome! Thanks for keeping the gaming scene on the Amiga alive. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any future Amiga projects.

Tremendous effort here Space-Time you've shown real respect for Hewson’s original, preserving its identity while gently enhancing it for a modern system. We'll be posting a full review in the next issue of Fusion magazine.

We absolutely loved playing Yeet over here at ZZAP Amiga Towers. Full review in the next issue!

Nice look forward to playing this. Love the two joysticks idea.

Good Evening, Apologies for the late reply, I've been working away. Great News! Yes I'll absolutely be reviewing the next chapter! Can't wait to play it.

Yes, I remember Game Over very well, one I enjoyed on my CPC many years ago. You've made me want to check out Hundra on the CPC now as well. Well done also on the second part of the game, that was nice added bonus to extend the story.

I've written a review of the game for ZZAP Amiga magazine and it should appear in the next issue!

Tough but great fun. Cheeky little easter egg on the load screen - press the ESC key ; )

Afternoon, I've downloaded the game, got ahold of Scala which I can open via workbench and I can get all the files off the disk to appear in Scala. And when I run via Scala I get the title screen however when I select start or instructions it keeps asking me for a disk?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fantastic news! Can’t wait to see what awaits George in this final chapter.

Hi, would really like to play the game but I see the Mac version has graphical issues at the moment. Will there be any update to get the Mac version working properly? Thanks.

Fantastic port, absolutely love the soundtrack! Would love to see more. Appreciate its not going to be finished but thought I'd point out that there seems to be quite bad graphical glitches / flickering during the end of level boss fight. I felt that it also took far too long to beat up the end boss. Other than that a great showpiece of what the Megadrive was capable of. Well done guys.

No, I'm good I've already finished the game. Honestly it was like playing an old Sierra adventure all over again. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Will be including a full review in new Homebrew section of next months Fusion magazine.
