  • Some issues (1.14, might or might not apply to latest version):
    • Fall damage is still applied when falling is "graceful" (imagine falling, casting the hook out horizontally, it hooks onto a horizontal bar, and you swing in a clean arc, and momentum is gradually changed)
    • The player gets stuck if they fall into tight spots (11:36):
  • In my opinion, I think nightmare mode is too easy. To me, it's pretty unclear where the worm spawns during the start, which does make it more unpredictable (therefore difficult). But, I think the only major difficulty ramp present here is the lack of kilns. The worm only becomes a speed difficulty if you are taking A LOT of time freely sight-seeing. Other than that, it's the same difficulty, just with some modifications. Maybe a "Nightmare nightmare" difficulty would add a couple or so worms, with each much faster. And maybe remove some overhangs / platforms to make hooking more difficult.
  • First Kiln is insane. I've created a route that gets me to the 3rd empty chunky maze/freefall floor with 50% success. After that, it's pretty trivial just navigating the layers downward until you screw up from misjudging hooks or getting cocky.
  • I think this game is off to a good start. There is a lot of level and difficulty potential.

I like this game so far. The start is obviously scary, not knowing exactly when the centipede is nearby until its a few feet from you. I made a video. Let this serve as a commentary and review. I apologize in advance for the cringe.
