This was a fun visual novel.
The characters were great and the dialogue was really funny. You did a great job with it! (I adored Caleb and Yuuki)
Also, the character designs are really well done. They were all so unique and beautiful.

This was such a melancholy and beautiful visual novel.
You did a fantastic job with the little animations. The opening scene was particularly cool, but I enjoyed how there was quite a bit of movement during the game even after that.
It was also an interesting idea to place the beginning of the game after a catastrophe had already happened, and it set the mood for the rest of the story very well.
Of course, the nameless girl was the highlight of the game. She was such a strange and sad character, and her desire to help made so much sense with the twist at the end.
(The sadder ending absolutely broke my heart. I’m not sure whether you set up a point system for the endings, or if it was due to a specific dialogue choice, but it was interesting to get that ending after being more reactive to the girl’s dialogue.)
Even though she’s a fictional character, I hope the girl finds happiness.
Keep up the good work!
(As an aside, I wanted you to know that your English translation has gotten very good!)
[Vague spoilers]

It was very bittersweet (and even distressing at times)
But, I really enjoyed the theme of Identity. Although that almost made the experience sadder, since Robert really didn't exactly get to retain his in most of the endings. But, sometimes the way he gave himself up for some of the creatures in the Neverplace seemed... sweet? In a rather unsettling way, admittedly.
I do look forward to seeing what happens in the rest of the Folklore series, both with Robert as well as the other characters that are present in the other games. I'm still holding out for a relatively happy ending!
Besides the heart-wrenching story, your art was as beautiful as always. I love the character designs and the backgrounds so much!
Also, the VAs did a wonderful job. They really brought the characters to life.
Keep up the good work! I'm definitely excited for more of the Folklore series and getting to see more of these characters 💜
He definitely needs to let Oggie go, but I'm curious to see where the story leads after all of this.
As always, you did a great job with this! I really think you captured Bean's yandere side very well, and the art is just so cute ;-;
(It was also cool to see that you made a couple of the songs for Vulgaris!)
This was honestly a cute visual novel.
[Slight spoilers]
James was weirdly relatable. Vladimir was the best little fish, and James' affection for it was adorable... and Karin is kind of badass (she might actually make a good vampire hunter xD)
I enjoyed all of the endings, but I think Ending 1 is definitely my favorite. It had the most satisfactory outcome (and the idea of James and Karin working together is nice. They'd make a good team.)
Also, you did an awesome job with the art! Plus I really enjoyed the images you chose for the backgrounds, and the GUI being set up to look similar to that of old Macintosh computers was a nice touch. It made me feel a bit of nostalgia.
The setting was very interesting, and the characters were very likeable. I really liked Jeanne and Wylan's dynamic, and they worked well together even after being thrown into such an alarming situation!
I don't know if you plan to do more games set in Pale Moon city, but the idea of the city is very cool. I'd love to see more of it! (I'd love to see more of Jeanne and Wylan too ^^ Whether together or apart, I liked them both a lot.)
Keep up the good work! I'll have to check out your other games too
I also found the fact that you made it in Ren'Py really impressive.
I know it's possible to do a lot with the engine, but both the dungeon crawler aspect and the battles were really creative!
(Although sometimes the camera battles didn't register when I clicked on the faces, but I'm not sure if that was because my mouse just didn't recognize when I clicked or not)
Unfortunately, I was unable to find the secret ending. But I did get the extra scene from the locker! I'll have to keep trying to get the secret ending.
Keep up the good work! (I'll have to check out your visual novel sometime, too ^^)
This is just a lovely visual novel.
First and foremost, the illustrations you did for it are beautiful. You can just see the adoration that Kyū and Tei feel for each other, and their expressions conveyed so much. Plus the sad moments really hit hard with the accompanying illustrations.
The story was also beautiful and so sad. The hope and the conviction they show in Ending A made it feel like their struggles together brought the boys even closer, and it was very satisfying.
And Ending B was absolutely heart-wrenching. I struggled getting it, but I also understand Kyū's feelings to a degree... it just felt so unfair, so I was very glad that the sad ending wasn't the only ending. It's nice to have a happy ending to fall back on after the tragedy.
Honestly, I'd love to see even more of Kyū and Tei. Either their past and how they met, or their future. But, even without seeing more, I didn't feel lost about their pre-existing relationship. Everything made sense, and you gave just enough of an explanation of their pasts and how they met that it all felt very natural.
Needless to say, I have a lot of feelings about Weeping Cherries. All good ones. I love a story that can both make me cry and squeal in joy. It was wonderful and I'm glad I got a chance to play it!
No worries! I honestly thought the bug was kinda funny xD It wasn't game-breaking, so take your time.
Poor Var... I wish he could have found peace. He deserved a good, peaceful life.
Even if you don't add anything to this particular story, I'd love to see them again in another story (if you have plans for it)!
And it was my pleasure! Thank you for the well wishes ❤
It was like a fairytale, and I wish it had more than one ending. I quite liked Bora and Var's dynamic...
Good riddance about Var's homophobic dad, though... although I'm sorry his memory still tormented Var the way that it did.
(Also, if you do check out the video, please excuse my voice. I was/am getting over a cold and my voice is definitely a bit weak in the video ^^;)
36 has a similar sort of feeling that older RPG Maker horror games have, especially with the way the player is pretty much thrown into the story head-first.
It had good humor (that is slightly out of place with the dark atmosphere, but it actually adds to the strangeness of the situation in a very good way), weird-yet-likeable characters, and monsters and puzzles that provide challenging obstacles into solving the overall mystery of what exactly happened to Noah.
Dealing with all of those things really made getting all of the endings a fun journey, and I quite liked just how different each of the endings were! (Of course the good ending was the nicest to get, but it was satisfying to get the other two, too!)
Besides the story and characters, the music and sound design really added to the atmosphere. I found myself saying multiple times how much I enjoyed the music.
If I'm guessing correctly, you're the one who made the soundtrack to this game? You did an excellent job of it!
Needless to say, I greatly enjoyed 36.
Keep up the good work!
The character designs were fabulous, and the body horror/gore was really well done. It was quite disturbing, and it made my heart ache for the characters that were afflicted with the stuff that caused it.
The music was also delightful. It fit into the setting well, and the up-beat nature of the menu music kind of made the whole game even more disturbing.
I, unfortunately, was unable to find all 7 of the endings. I only managed to find the neutral ending and the one when the timer runs out (and I re-played the game multiple times to try and find the rest, but to no avail. I'm not sure if the trigger is hidden very well, but I could only get the first two endings.)
If you ever make a guide, I'll definitely give Kandinhale another couple of plays!
(As an aside, I don't think I ran into any bugs? Nothing stood out to me, so it seems that if you've done any fixes already then they worked!)
You did a great job, especially with this being your first game.
Keep up the good work. I'll look forward to more games in the future, if you plan to make any more!
You did really well for it being your very first RPG Maker game.
I adored Patrick and Ruben. Their dynamic was a lot of fun even if it started off a little unsteady.
And R.I.P. Zac (he won't be missed)
I look forward to trying other games that you might make in the future! Keep it up ^-^
The little animations were such a great touch, and the story branching had some very interesting choices. It was a very neat approach to the amnesia trope.
I felt so bad with the lying choices, and I couldn't help rolling my eyes hard at some of what Harper says to Ian... but I was torn, because Ian seemed more receptive to those answers, too (still, Ian deserves the truth!)
This story is definitely going to be an emotional roller coaster. I really hope things work out for them in the full game ;-;
This was a very eerie demo! I greatly enjoyed it.
The scenes were intense (particularly everything that goes down inside of the church), the jumpscares were startling, and I really liked the little flashback in the graveyard. It made me feel rather sad for both Gene and Alex.
I enjoyed the puzzles, too. The hints were sufficient, but you definitely have to give it a bit of thought to solve them (well, a lot of thought in my case... particularly with the headstone puzzle xD That took me a bit of time to solve.)
I'm really looking forward to where the story goes, and I'm excited that it looks like there will be voice acting! I can't wait to hear these characters be brought to life!
(As an aside, I started reading PARA-Professional while I was editing the video, and it is so cool! Deg is probably my favorite character, but Gene cracks me up. I really like their dynamic.
The other friends in the group are growing on me too, but I haven't quite caught up to the present chapters yet ^^;)
I just realized I forgot to respond to this Σ(っ °Д °;)っ
I look forward to an expansion of this story ;-; I'll hold out hope that it has a relatively happy ending for all of them.
(xD Since you and a few other folks said it sounded fine, I tried not to let my voice bother me. I'll probably leave it as is)
Ooh 👀 I'm definitely excited to see how the story differs!
I thought the heartbeat mechanic was really cool. It added an extra layer of anxiety to the whole thing. (And I will admit, the chase sequence in the woods, especially with the good ending, had my heart pumping a bit!)
I hope that Ryo ends up with a happy life in either ending, but I'm very glad he has his uncle to rely on in the good ending. Both Ryo and Mr. Hunter just deserve so many hugs ;-;
You did a great job with this game, and especially with programming it in such a short amount of time! I look forward to any future games you might make ^-^
Whatever happens, I'm glad Kyū is in their lives even if being stuck in this situation seems hard on him. I can hope that maybe they can be a happy family someday and that Mahiro gets the love he deserves. He's a good kid, and he definitely doesn't deserve to be in the middle of what's going on with his parents.
(I'm also going to play Weeping Cherries at some point. I'm curious about how that story differs. I'm hoping there's a happy ending for Kyū in that one!)
This was a cool (and delightfully weird) little game!
(I wanted to play it because I saw Max post it on tumblr)
In spite of my terribleness with shooter survival horror, I had fun with it. Although using the mouse to move and shoot, along with the fixed camera angles definitely made it challenging xD
Also, excellent work on making the monsters creepy.
I greatly enjoyed the story, although I felt terrible for the main character. His fiancé is a terrible man 😣
The puzzles were well done and decently challenging, too! Although it took far longer to solve everything for the final ending than I'd like to admit 😅
You did a good job on Red Dove! I'll have to check out your other game at some point, too
But I really enjoyed the lore, and getting to hear just a little bit more about their world. (I'm super curious about His Worship, though. Seems like an interesting guy.)
I also noticed in the page for Apartment Complex 9 that there is also a character named Valentín who is, in fact, a werewolf. Is that the same guy as our MC in this? I'm definitely gonna have to check it out! I'm looking forward to finding out more about this world and the interesting characters in it.
The neighbour certainly is a scary fellow, but I rather liked him (plus he's cute. I have a soft spot for characters with sharp teeth xD)
Although I have a hunch that I should have played Taste first to get the full picture of why he is the way he is in this, but this really worked as a short standalone horror game with a bit of mystery to it. I will, however, be playing Taste next so that I can understand the full story!
I liked how unsettling the house was to explore. The scenes with the "monsters" were really neat. Although I think the scene that I liked the most was the hallway scene, where I laughed far too hard at Liam's expense.
I could not at all guess what the twist was, either. At least not until I got the final ending, but it made me hurt so much for Von.
Liam is an incredible friend and I'm so happy he has stuck with Von through all of this. I hope they have so much happiness together, and I hope that Von can live a normal life eventually.
Memory Recoil was very lovely.
I am surprised that you only learned how to program within a week; you did a great job!
This was a fun, and rather surreal experience.
[Vague spoilers]
I greatly enjoyed uncovering their past together through opening the doors and finding items (some of the scenes, such as the Detective one, were delightfully weird!)
And that final ending (which I managed to get out of order, by accident) was fascinating.
I'm somewhat rooting for their friendship/relationship. In spite of how toxic Adrian seems, I appreciate his affection for Jules. I assume he is a yandere? (I know the game has that tag, but he is a very subtle yandere in a lot of ways)
The art was cool, too. I really liked the use of those silhouettes with the enormous eyes. They just added to how unsettling the whole game was.
And Adrian's design was somehow both rather normal looking, and also very intimidating! Especially next to Jules, who looked very unassuming and quiet.
You did a great job with this game! 💜
This was a fun and pretty terrifying experience!
The sound design, the and the way that the graphics got all glitchy when the monster got near definitely gave this a good, creepy feel. And the lack of ability to save definitely made it that much more nerve-wracking.
Besides the actual horror aspect, I'd say you pretty well captured the look and atmosphere of an oldschool horror game!
This was a neat visual novel! I enjoy the wordplay for the title.
SPOILERS (sort of)

I really appreciated the puzzles. They were very well done (although I did get a bit stuck on the passcode one, until I realized that the keys had letters on them xD Then I managed to guess correctly) I didn't even expect there to be a sliding puzzle! That was a nice touch.
The story was a lot of fun, too. It definitely felt like a thriller with how everything played out. (I did guess a bit early on that Soma wasn't exactly who he said he was, but I did go into this game kind of expecting him to be bad news. Even if he's absolutely adorable!)
I enjoyed all of the endings, and I was glad that the friend was okay in the good ending... presumably they're okay in all of the endings, though.
The little bit of voice acting was great, too! But you may want to make the volume for the voices to be louder. I had to do a lot of adjusting with my capture and editing programs to get it to be the right volume. (It's probably not as big of a deal for people who aren't recording a playthrough, though.)
Overall, this was very fun! It captures the feel of the Halloween Season very well.
