Episode 3 was awesome! I really loved getting to learn more about both Alicia and Beaford (I honestly had a "woah!" moment with Beaford's backstory, but I appreciated just how upfront he is with Alicia. And oh my gosh, the twist at the end! I'm actually a little nervous about what will happen in the next game.)

I'm curious where the story is going to lead and whether Alicia is going to finally get some answers. I also really loved seeing Alicia and Itou interact more. Their dynamic is hilarious. I don't know if you have any more plans for them to interact, but what we got in Episode 3 was a lot of fun!

You did a fantastic job with all of Episode 3. I love this series and I'm a little sad that the next one will be the finale, but I'm also really excited for it! Keep up the good work!

(Also, I did find a few small bugs. Nothing game-breaking, but I have them written down and can paste them in a comment or something, if you want to know what they are?)

This is such an awesome zine! I love reading about some of the behind the scenes stuff, and getting to know more about the characters is really cool. (Plus getting to see all the beautiful art is such a treat 💖)

I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I have to admit, I really enjoyed watching you get a little scared ^^; I'm glad to know that even if the game is a bit silly, it still has some scary moments.

Thank you again for playing!

I finally got around to playing the first chapter!

It was so much fun, and Noah is so unsettling (and adorable...) I honestly adore him, and I'm excited to see just where the story goes!

Thank you! 💜

😅 There is no full game yet. You'll just have to wait for me to finish it.

Thank you so much for playing!

💜💜 I'm always happy to get comments, so thank you for posting one too!

;///; I'm so happy you love the characters! (The doctor is indeed the skeletal headed individual. His sprite is going to be very... interesting to make.)
I had fun trying to come up with a spooky story for the hospital! Initially the game was going to be something else entirely, but I love weird urban legends so I wanted to make one of my own.
I'm also really glad that the map flows well (it's a big part of why I made the main game take place in a closed-off setting. I wanted to practice making maps that fit together well and don't end up jumbled or too confusing.)

He is definitely hiding something, but I'm glad you don't want to be mean to him. I'm having fun with writing him, and it's been fantastic to know that people find him suspicious (I hope people enjoy finding out about him, though! You're gonna be one of the first to know the truth about him, since you're one of the playtesters >>)

Hiro! Thank you so much for playing my demo ;A; (sdjkfjksk I'm glad you enjoyed the different lines of dialogue for the boards. I had fun with that)
I'm going to try to have an extended demo in the coming months, so you should get a little more information then ( Ngl, I'm looking forward to seeing what people think of Ivan once the full game is done. I very much wanted him to seem suspicious upon the first encounter, so I'm glad he comes off that way!)

Thank you so much 😭💜💜 I'm really happy you liked all of that. I wanted there to be a mix of a eerie atmosphere and humor, so I'm glad both came out well.
(I do plan to refine the sprites a bit more for the full release, but I am so happy you found them cute! They were interesting, and an absolute pain to make xD)

(Aaah yeah, I haven't yet figured out how to fix that. The gurneys are really big sprites, and collision physics get kinda weird with bigger sprites. I've been trying to figure out how to fix the way they sometimes overlap with the smaller objects, but it might end up being a visual bug that's there to stay ^^;)

I know I already left a review before I finished editing the video, but I figured I'd leave a comment, too ^^ (Especially since I got a chance to essentially re-experience the demo while editing)

I enjoyed everything about Teknokrat.
The bright visuals, the really cool character designs, and the awesome music made it such a fun experience!
I really like the world you've created, and the direction the story is going in is very intriguing.

I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the story, and I'll definitely get it on Steam as well!

This was fun! The little bit of voice acting was nice, and I enjoyed trying out the different combinations with him

Thank you so much for playing! I had a lot of fun watching your video. I'm glad you liked my silly game!

Everything about this was so much fun!

[Vague spoilers]

Cassian and his terrible hilarious jokes were an absolute delight, and I rather loved seeing this bit of history behind how the Crooked Man came to be who he is now.
I also loved that the "choice" we got really wasn't a choice at all (and they way that we got a chance to do the right thing was so cool!)

As always, you get lovely VAs for your characters. And your art is so pretty ;-; The backgrounds, CGs and the sprites were wonderful to look at.

You did an excellent job with At The Mythic Markets, and I am eagerly awaiting more of the Folklore Series.

This was delightful!

Vitus was an absolute ray of sunshine, and I laughed so much at the way most of the choices played out.

The voice actor did a fantastic job of bringing him to life, and I loved how goofy Vitus was compared to his more elegant aesthetic.

Keep up the good work!

This was honestly hilarious!

I still wasn't sure after getting all of the endings, if the mc really was that tech. illiterate or just messing around (or a bit of both?) But it was great either way and I liked the dynamic between the hacker and the MC a lot ^^

Also the art and the aesthetic was awesome! This was a hell of a lot of fun to play through.

Keep up the good work!

This was a delightfully macabre visual novel.

I liked the character of the Alleyman a lot. He was both a little unsettling, and kinda... cute? His design is gorgeous, though.

I also really enjoyed the dice rolling mechanic, and how the Alleyman would speak to the player throughout the game. Although, with all the bits of dialogue that the Alleyman dropped, I am curious to know more about him ^^;

Keep up the good work! I'll have to check out some of your other projects sometime.

xD I'm just far too curious to not try the bad options! (Sometimes it really doesn't end up okay for the player character, but >>; at least I tried it)

Oh noooo ;A; I'm gonna have to choose between them?! You're going to see me really struggle at that point, but I'm looking forward to it!

Thank you for continuing to make such a fun story. I'm excited to see where this goes 💜

I know you already know, but I LOVE Zhen. He's charming. He's weird, and he is definitely good at his job.

I don't think I'd actually mind being in the apprentice's place, because Zhen is a whole lot of fun to talk to. (And he's very cute >>; Exceptionally cute. His voice actor did a great job with bringing his character to life, too!)

All of the dialogue was interesting, but it was sincerely delightful to get a chance to flirt a little with our charming interrogator.

I'm looking forward to seeing just where the story goes for the Crooked Man's apprentice... and I'm hoping the Crooked Man is okay at this point in the story...

While I still have yet to play some of your longer stories, this one was super good!

Just the little bit of backstory we get in Reaper's Rite is absolutely heart-wrenching, and I feel so bad for the Farmboy and for the demon.

The voice acting was excellent, and the art is very cool!

This was a fun little game!

The art style and the concept were really cool.

You did a good job with the foreshadowing. Even if the ending wasn't much of a surprise (in a big part due to the foreshadowing) it was still impactful and delightfully creepy.

This was yet another very enjoyable installment of the Folklore series!

(Please excuse my short comment this time around. I seem to have come down with something and am experiencing a bit of brain fog while posting this. I know I mentioned a little bit in DMs already some of what I enjoyed and I'll mention a bit here too, but I'll definitely give you my full thoughts when my brain is working properly!)

[Some spoilers in the comment below]

.

.

The slightly tense and unsettling atmosphere left me on edge with every choice we had to make, and I kept wondering just where the story would take us. (Of course, even with getting to the end, I still feel a little nervous for what future installments might bring.)

I look forward to learning more about the new characters we've been introduced to... (particularly Zhen and Jonathan Lane. Those two definitely left an impression on me) and I am excited to see where the story goes!

This was such a sad game. Beautiful, though.

The depiction of an emotionally/verbally abusive parent was accurate, and the good ending was very satisfying. I enjoyed the rather challenging mechanic of having to start over if we died or got too cold in the woods, too. It was really cool!

Zachariah is definitely annoying, but definitely also hot. I enjoyed both Honey Trap and the sequel a lot!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of Zach in the future, too!

Of course! I had a lot of fun with it! You did a good job with Haunted.
And thank you for watching. I'm so glad you enjoyed my reactions 💜 I didn't really notice much of the jankiness in Haunted, but I always find a bit of jankiness charming in indie games.

No worries. Good luck with your demo (and the full game, eventually) I look for forward to playing it!

Thank you!

This was really cute. I liked both the MC and the ghost, they had a funny dynamic (and the ghost cracked me up when we first got to talk with him. He's kind of snarky, and I love it.)

The simple puzzles were a nice touch too.

Even without art for the cutscenes, it was a really engaging game! The dialogue was really good and it definitely brought out the characters personalities.
(although I am so sorry, if you do watch my video I ended up giving the MC a kinda silly voice. It just happened, and then I rolled with it ^^;)

The ending honestly surprised me a little, though! But I enjoyed it all the same.

Good work! Keep it up! And if you decide to update the game with art for the cutscenes, I'll definitely play it again.

(Also, I hope you don't mind that I used your game page banner on my video thumbnail? Normally I use in-game assets/images. If you do, just tell me and I'll figure out what to change it to.)

I had a lot of fun with this one!
(Edit: Also, happy Maid Day!)

[Some spoilers in the comment below]

Rutile and Lade Alle were very enjoyable characters, and the story was interesting. In spite of how short the game was, the pacing was good!
And even though we (the players) don't completely find out the mysterious circumstances in which Lady Alle's family had died  (as in, their... illness) until a while after Rutile starts her job, the foreshadowing was sufficient enough to make Alle quite suspicious.
(Also, the chemistry between Rutile and Alle was excellent. Even if it didn't end in a romance T-T)

I also really enjoyed the cooking minigame!
And, as always, your art is lovely 💜

Keep up the good work!

(Edit: Adding in — I just read the devlog, and even if so much was cut, it's still really cool to read about it! Also, I love that Gabriel is a butch.
And Alle being the inverse of Ella/Cinderella is so cool! I didn't even realize that, but I should have!
It also makes sense that the milkman was originally going to be a different character, but I do love jealous/yandere Alle xD

Whether or not you add all that stuff at a later date, it's still a really fun game!)

This was such a cool game! As someone who was definitely using forums in 2006/2007 and had been fascinated by scary stories and creepy-pastas at the time, this was a very nostalgic game to play through ^^

Even with the bugs, it was plenty beatable (even if I did have to reload from an earlier save a few times.) I really enjoyed the puzzles, and the way that you implemented the website(s) and program interfaces was honestly really cool.  Even after getting the endings, I still have so many questions. It's a mystery that I don't mind remaining unsolved, but

I will absolutely be playing this again if you add anything more after the contest is finished.

You did a great job with kana.exe. Keep up the good work!

I'm super late with playing this (compared to all the other commenters 😅)

This was a fun visual novel.

The characters were great and the dialogue was really funny. You did a great job with it! (I adored Caleb and Yuuki)

Also, the character designs are really well done. They were all so unique and beautiful.

(1 edit)

This was such a melancholy and beautiful visual novel.

You did a fantastic job with the little animations. The opening scene was particularly cool, but I enjoyed how there was quite a bit of movement during the game even after that.

It was also an interesting idea to place the beginning of the game after a catastrophe had already happened, and it set the mood for the rest of the story very well.

Of course, the nameless girl was the highlight of the game. She was such a strange and sad character, and her desire to help made so much sense with the twist at the end.

(The sadder ending absolutely broke my heart. I’m not sure whether you set up a point system for the endings, or if it was due to a specific dialogue choice, but it was interesting to get that ending after being more reactive to the girl’s dialogue.)

Even though she’s a fictional character, I hope the girl finds happiness.

Keep up the good work!

(As an aside, I wanted you to know that your English translation has gotten very good!)

I know I messaged you literally right after I finished playing this, but I have to say it again: Goodbye Robert was such a beautiful experience!

[Vague spoilers]

.

.

It was very bittersweet (and even distressing at times)
But, I really enjoyed the theme of Identity. Although that almost made the experience sadder, since Robert really didn't exactly get to retain his in most of the endings. But, sometimes the way he gave himself up for some of the creatures in the Neverplace seemed... sweet? In a rather unsettling way, admittedly.

I do look forward to seeing what happens in the rest of the Folklore series, both with Robert as well as the other characters that are present in the other games. I'm still holding out for a relatively happy ending!

Besides the heart-wrenching story, your art was as beautiful as always. I love the character designs and the backgrounds so much!

Also, the VAs did a wonderful job. They really brought the characters to life.

Keep up the good work! I'm definitely excited for more of the Folklore series and getting to see more of these characters 💜

Voted! I hope that it gets restored ❤

You did a fantastic job of balancing making him sympathetic while still making him make terrible decisions!

And of course!
I'm excited to hear more songs by you, if you made any more for your games!

I had so much fun with Bean's side of the story! I missed all of the characters, but it was super fun to delve into why Bean did what he did. Honestly, it made me feel bad for him and also feel a bit... angry towards him.

He definitely needs to let Oggie go, but I'm curious to see where the story leads after all of this.

As always, you did a great job with this! I really think you captured Bean's yandere side very well, and the art is just so cute ;-;

(It was also cool to see that you made a couple of the songs for Vulgaris!)

(1 edit)

This was honestly a cute visual novel.

[Slight spoilers]

James was weirdly relatable. Vladimir was the best little fish, and James' affection for it was adorable... and Karin is kind of badass (she might actually make a good vampire hunter xD)

I enjoyed all of the endings, but I think Ending 1 is definitely my favorite. It had the most satisfactory outcome (and the idea of James and Karin working together is nice. They'd make a good team.)

Also, you did an awesome job with the art! Plus I really enjoyed the images you chose for the backgrounds, and the GUI being set up to look similar to that of old Macintosh computers was a nice touch. It made me feel a bit of nostalgia.

This was a fun game!

The setting was very interesting, and the characters were very likeable. I really liked Jeanne and Wylan's dynamic, and they worked well together even after being thrown into such an alarming situation!

I don't know if you plan to do more games set in Pale Moon city, but the idea of the city is very cool. I'd love to see more of it! (I'd love to see more of Jeanne and Wylan too ^^ Whether together or apart, I liked them both a lot.)

Keep up the good work! I'll have to check out your other games too

This is such a cool game! Between the story itself, and the atmosphere and music, it really did feel like an old-school horror/survival game (particularly one from the early 2000s)

I also found the fact that you made it in Ren'Py really impressive.
I know it's possible to do a lot with the engine, but both the dungeon crawler aspect and the battles were really creative!
(Although sometimes the camera battles didn't register when I clicked on the faces, but I'm not sure if that was because my mouse just didn't recognize when I clicked or not)

Unfortunately, I was unable to find the secret ending. But I did get the extra scene from the locker! I'll have to keep trying to get the secret ending.

Keep up the good work! (I'll have to check out your visual novel sometime, too ^^)

I will try to make my feelings on Weeping Cherries at least somewhat coherent
(my first instinct was to go "AAAH😭😭❤❤")

This is just a lovely visual novel.
First and foremost, the illustrations you did for it are beautiful. You can just see the adoration that Kyū and Tei feel for each other, and their expressions conveyed so much. Plus the sad moments really hit hard with the accompanying illustrations.

The story was also beautiful and so sad. The hope and the conviction they show in Ending A made it feel like their struggles together brought the boys even closer, and it was very satisfying.
And Ending B was absolutely heart-wrenching. I struggled getting it, but I also understand Kyū's feelings to a degree... it just felt so unfair, so I was very glad that the sad ending wasn't the only ending. It's nice to have a happy ending to fall back on after the tragedy.

Honestly, I'd love to see even more of Kyū and Tei. Either their past and how they met, or their future. But, even without seeing more, I didn't feel lost about their pre-existing relationship. Everything made sense, and you gave just enough of an explanation of their pasts and how they met that it all felt very natural.

Needless to say, I have a lot of feelings about Weeping Cherries. All good ones. I love a story that can both make me cry and squeal in joy. It was wonderful and I'm glad I got a chance to play it!

No worries! I honestly thought the bug was kinda funny xD It wasn't game-breaking, so take your time.

Poor Var... I wish he could have found peace. He deserved a good, peaceful life.

Even if you don't add anything to this particular story, I'd love to see them again in another story (if you have plans for it)!

And it was my pleasure! Thank you for the well wishes ❤

This was a beautiful and tragic story ;-;

It was like a fairytale, and I wish it had more than one ending. I quite liked Bora and Var's dynamic...
Good riddance about Var's homophobic dad, though... although I'm sorry his memory still tormented Var the way that it did.

(Also, if you do check out the video, please excuse my voice. I was/am getting over a cold and my voice is definitely a bit weak in the video ^^;)

That's awesome You're  quite skilled at making music.
And thank you for watching my video. I do my best to be entertaining, so I'm happy to hear it made you smile ^^
I'll have to give your other project a play sometime, too. The plot sounds really interesting!
