What this absolutely filled with clichés?: Yes.
Did I love every second of it?: Yes yes yes!
Although I'm not a trans guy I do seek out romances why transgender men. I read a lot of romance but I mostly read queer romances. Often the trans guys were hetero side characters in cis BL/GL comics, or commonly hetero t4t when it came to Literotica, and trans women in queer romance is more common in general. So I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed to find a BL vn with a trans guy.
Its a medium quick read, I read in a 3 or 2, and the dialogue and narration is written really well regardless of clichés. The art style is both crisp and cute, and there were 12 beautiful vn scenes. Because the VN is short of leaves a lot of scenes, such as date scenes, to the imagination, but I didn't mind, just something to note. My only nitpick is that I do prefer VNs that have transparency control for the dialogue bar like Ace Attorney. The dialogue bar can, y'know, cover up the goods during certain scenes. But that's just me nitpicking.
Speaking of those certain scenes, I was super happy with the SM dynamic they ended up having during those scenes. I won't get into so much detail of why as I don't want to spoil future readers of getting to know these characters personalities that made this dynamic so enjoyable.
Overall it was a 9.5/10 experience for me ngl. I hope to more of the work from all this team in the future. Definitely read if you know that childhood friends romance are always on top, and enjoy office fluff (with some sexy teasing lol).
